We apologize for the technical difficulties we had with Donald's mic. We so appreciate the support and patience along with the views on our videos! More to come!
Not a problem for me (& l listen to every word) I've learned more history from these 2 gentlemen than any history class l ever took - they teach the way l learn instead of expecting me to learn the way they teach
I was going to make the same comment but scrolled down to see if anyone felt the same and yes, a few people said the same thing. Can't fake good chemistry.
The Bentley is a beauty throughout. I’ve always wanted to see one. And hearing two knowledgeable men talking about the clubs and the life surrounding them makes a great program
These two together crack me up. Donald has incredible automotive knowledge, Jay much more anecdotal but entertaining. Fun series to watch. Newport is a great place to cruise around.
I was stationed in Newport twice and it's great seeing Donald and Jay driving past places I remember. Great of Jay and Donald to team up and try to attract attention to Newport. Keep them coming, please.
The unexpected! Jay and Donald take delight in driving around in a humble English working man’s car, in an area where you’d expect to see them in V16, V12 and V8 vehicles! I still remember Dad’s 1960 Morris Oxford. As for that amazing Hudson, it’s something unique for the times! First time I’ve seen the straight 8 under a bonnet too, whereas Jay’s Hudsons are 6s if I recall. The 8 must be super quiet-smooth. Wish Jay and Donald had driven that too. The photography and dialogue in these Audrain programmes give us unique views and insights of Newport. Many thanks, John, Brisbane Australia.
I love this show. 2 of my best presenters and being a home and car restorer over 45 years, I love Newport. For years I drove a 1 or 2 1935 Arnold body 3.5 Liter fastback everywhere. These Bentleys are just a great driving cars. From my experience of restoring and past president of the Rolls Royce Foundation, W.O. Bentley was involved with these cars as a consultant. Every single part was modified from the RR part to make it stronger for the use of a sportier car. Thank you both for this lovely presentation of cars and homes .
I love these historical vehicles and learning about them from Jay and Mr. Osborne... I do have one question, though... WAS THE FRONT LEFT TIRE BOTHERING ANYONE ELSE? Lol. Love ya, guys! -Vic
Love that this series shows cars, architecture, historical events and information, and shows multiple types of cars all in one video plus ties them all together like some 6 Degrees of Separation, and all with the views of two great guys with very different backgrounds and styles!
Well done gentlemen ! Another splendid show . I never thought of the Morris being for the middle class.....until you told us the history behind the cars ! And l thought it very courteous of you Donald for allowing Jay the priviledge of driving "your " favourite motor car ! And thankyou Jay for the story behind the Lagonda . Look forward to the next show ! Thankyou Gentlemen !
That was very polite of Donald to let Jay talk about the wrong engine for several minutes before correcting him. Reminds me of the guy stuck in the booth with Harry Carey in his later years listening to him tell a story about his granddaughter or something as a triple play was going down on the field.
That Morris engine is exactly what it is. It’s the automotive equivalent to a great Blues Song. Sometimes, all you need is a man, a guitar and a story to tell.
I also love those old Hudsons. Like riding on your living room couch, and so much room in the back seats! In Port Haywood VA near me there used to be a Hudson Dealer. The strange old guy that owned the dealership closed up the dealer part and just sold gas for many years. For some odd reason he put all his unsold new and used cars behind the building instead of in his empTy 6 bay garage. When he died many years latter there was an auction for the cars and no one bid because there where in such bad shape and where sold for scrap.
Very well done video..........no big deal for the audio bugs..........we could still here the conversation and enjoy being in the background........stunning car's and architecture...........👍👍👊👊
I'm not even into cars, yet, hahaha. However, the history and camaraderie displayed is infectious. I look forward to the wind taking us east, quite soon.
You guys just have too much fun, although I did get to jump start a '70 Hemi Cuda at Walmart today, glad I was in my F250. Thanks for showcasing those great cars and the cottage...wow!
Another great episode from the dynamic duo of automobiles. I’m still waiting for Jay to let Donald drive one of the cars. If that never happens, could we at least have Jay chauffeur Donald in the Duke’s Duesenerg Murphy Town Car.
Not so much at home in a Walmart Lot though. All great cars but the Hudson gets my vote. Even without a test drive! Cheers to Donald and the Audrain and Jay of course. 🇨🇦
Quite lengthy, even though it made me smile. Rhode Island a pretty classy place. I use to have a gag bow tie that would spin around, I bet Osborne wishes he had one.
The Lagonda Creek is in Springfield, Ohio. “Lagonda" was a Shawnee Indian term meaning buck's horn. I may never regard Lagonda automobiles the same way again.
very nice show.Just two little corrections: this Bentley was based on a modified RR 25/30, not 20/25.And there were quite some dropheads/cabriolets , under the pen of different coachbuilders, like Vanden Plas,Cockshoot, Kellner ,Abbott, Carlton etc.Would be better having a bit of music under Donald's reading the house history, a bit dry this way...especially that there was music under the driving of the Morris
Great video Gentleman! Where does one find an oil that this car can tolerate? Oil chemistry has change so much over the years that I’m watering synthetic could quite possibly destroy that engine. And I wonder if waterless coolant would work well in that vintage of automobile? Thanks for another great video!
For me the most desirable cars were the cars built between WWI and WWII. While I appreciate the safety and technological advances of modern cars, with a few exceptions the cars built between the wars were works of art and evolving innovation and engineering advancements.
In England when they refer to a car as 14HP, 7HP etc they are referring to taxable horsepower. This was a formula invented about 1910 to try and estimate the horsepower of an engine. It was not too accurate and became less accurate as time went on and technical developments increase horsepower output. But it continued to be used to calculate annual license fees until 1947. During this period road tax was charged at the rate of 1 pound per horsepower per year. So the tax on this car would be 14 pounds. The buying power of the pound in the 1920s was equal to about $50 in today's money. That means the owner of this car was paying about $700 a year for his tax sticker. You can see why taxable horsepower was so important to the buyer that it would be one of the first things he wanted to know. It probably developed 35 or 40 HP similar to a Model A.
Everytime I see the opening I think one of these guys has a car collection worth 100s of millions of dollars, and the other, does not...but is still one helluva guy... ;-)
We apologize for the technical difficulties we had with Donald's mic. We so appreciate the support and patience along with the views on our videos! More to come!

Nothings perfect all the time
The intro is like watching James May & Oz Clark.
Don't worry about that, it added depth to the audio
@@tummytalk605 agreed
Jay is my favorite type of old guy, original unrestored.
Yeah, this show wouldn’t be as interesting with Robo-Jay and Mecha-Donald
😆🤣
Wrong, now he's been restored for fire damage...
The chemistry between these two is just so enjoyable to watch!! Wish I could show my passion for cars like this in my videos.
I was going to make the same comment but scrolled down to see if anyone felt the same and yes, a few people said the same thing. Can't fake good chemistry.
These two are the best duo for talking about Cars the knowledge is off the charts thnx Audrain from Toronto ❤️ Migwech 🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it! Please consider subscribing bit.ly/3RjleYp
These long form shows of just Jay and Donald talking classic cars are great
I love the mix of cars, conversation and architecture. Top notch! 👍
That left front wheel has a hell of a wobble!
Hahaha I saw that. Thought it was just me. When they say unrestored they mean unrestored!
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the wobbly wheel.
That car is 93 years old, I have no doubt that when I'm that age, I'll be a little wobbly too!
I was worried for their safety the entire time. Too much good in those seat, please stay on wobbly wheel.
The Bentley is a beauty throughout. I’ve always wanted to see one.
And hearing two knowledgeable men talking about the clubs and the life surrounding them makes a great program
These shows are so much fun to watch. Well done gentlemen...again. More please!
A pretty good wobble on the left front tire, of the estate. The Hudson's look like a comicbook superhero in flight.
Love Donald and Jay together! Can't get enough!
These two together crack me up. Donald has incredible automotive knowledge, Jay much more anecdotal but entertaining. Fun series to watch. Newport is a great place to cruise around.
This must be how rich automobile aficionados spend their weekends. Fascinating.
I was stationed in Newport twice and it's great seeing Donald and Jay driving past places I remember. Great of Jay and Donald to team up and try to attract attention to Newport. Keep them coming, please.
Once again thank you mr. Leno thank you Mr Osborne.

These are such brilliant videos! Thanks so much
Really nice video series, congrats Donald keep it up :)
I think Don and Jay have one of those rare dynamics seldom seen. I enjoy the interaction and the banter. Bravo as Donald would say.

My Wife and I saw this car in person this summer at the museum :) Fantastic Car :) :) ( Summer 22 )
These videos make me so happy! Go Jay, Go Donald!

Brilliant, Wonderful work Donald, your an asset to the car community.
The flavour of the M&M series is on point.
Thanks 👍
Jolly good show what, I do enjoy seeing these cars driven, and I do enjoy the commentary provided, very informative and entertaining, well done chaps,
Love that this series shows cars, architecture, historical events and information, and shows multiple types of cars all in one video plus ties them all together like some 6 Degrees of Separation, and all with the views of two great guys with very different backgrounds and styles!
35:46 😅 I love Jay's factual anecdotals. I think that Bentley definitely fits into the, "Rolls, Expolodes, and makes noise club". Great episode!
Love Osborne and Leno’s discussions on any car.
I'm glad Jay mentioned the scotish "Murder". Hearing them say "my brother was murdered" in a movie, cracked me up.
Love this series, my two passions in life, cars and property. Keep it up boys.
I love these videos. Keep them coming please!
Thxs guys 🚙👍

Light-hearted enlightening entertainment... Much appreciated!
Thank you so much for bringing us another wonderful season...Audrain is on my grail list soon....
Loved the beautiful cars today. I love the this series I could listen to Donald and Jay for hours. Plus they are in Newport RI.
The intro always cracks me up
That Morris engine is exactly what it is.
It’s the automotive equivalent to a great Blues Song. Sometimes, all you need is a man, a guitar and a story to tell.
Another wonderful episode!
Two people more completely opposites joined by a common love of cars. Love these two.
Dear Mr Osborne what you have to put up with in the opening credits alone God bless you sir.
Fantastic content, this channel deserves more views and subscriptions.
I also love those old Hudsons.

Those Bentley headlights are impressive and Jay's hair looks like it was colored for the Bentley.
Always enjoy these videos. Thank you

That would be so cool to see Leno and Osborne to drive by in a exotic car. Did you see those two ladies they have a story for life.
I find the Hudson incredibly beautiful.
This is 30 minutes from me and can’t wait to go
to a cars and coffee
Superb content! Thank you!
Felix and Oscar go motoring 😁. Well done to you both 🤠✌👍
That’s the right analogy.

priceless,such a pair!
Jay’s statement (at 9:00) “Like a good book you have to read it to enjoy it”…..😉
Not so much at home in a Walmart Lot though. All great cars but the Hudson gets my vote. Even without a test drive!
Cheers to Donald and the Audrain and Jay of course. 🇨🇦
I love this show
Grate video !
Boy, the passenger front wheel on the 1928 Morris looked pretty wobbly.
Nah, it's just the car has character :)))
Excellent
Champagne and WD-40
Wishing you both continued fun.
My goodness how Donald Osborne and J Leno Belong Together.
Very enjoyable. With the exception of the audio. Just wish it were a little longer video.😛🤩🤑
I like the inclusion of 1937 audio for the full experience
Great show, although a few moments more in the houses wouldn't hurt, would it...?
Quite lengthy, even though it made me smile. Rhode Island a pretty classy place. I use to have a gag bow tie that would spin around, I bet Osborne wishes he had one.
Great video
Love that 4 and 1/4!
Excellent Episode. Although there are some audio issues @30:00
The Lagonda Creek is in Springfield, Ohio. “Lagonda" was a Shawnee Indian term meaning buck's horn. I may never regard Lagonda automobiles the same way again.
Jay should make a new video about his Bentley Turbo R. He reviewed it already but it was too short. It is a fabulous car.
very cool
More of this please! Also, what's with the front left wheel on the Morris Oxford?
Please get multiple microphones to avoid the audio issues 🤣
What can be more beautigul tnan this

Finest acting intro I have ever seen

Hey Jay ! No battery powered junk ! Restoration updates are appreciated
Everytime I see the opening I think one of these guys has a car collection worth 100s of millions of dollars, and the other, does not...but is still one helluva guy... ;-)
Front driver wheel needs to be tighted a little more to the hub. 4:43
hudson has very clean balanced design. maybe the bumper could be little bit "less"
Look at the 2 front tire shaking
Cars from this era had fixed seats? Or are they adjustable at all?
Wonder if it’s the same car my grandfather drive when he worked for a huge estate
There are the same sections in the preview video that don't have the audio issues that this video does. Weird.
Is that left front wheel wobbling?
Yep
good video, freaky audio
I use the gearbox to slow down rather then the brakes on my ‘03 Tacoma! It’s the only way to drive.
Left front wheel wobble Jay
At around 30 minutes in, your audio amplifier did not fry. Ride it out for about 4 minutes.
Cool
well 25mph is quite fast considering that any major metropolitan residents would be lucky to get 8 mph stuck in traffic
