Hi! Loved your video. I do have a few questions about the nail polish. How long did you wait between putting on the coats of color? Did you put on a base layer beforehand? After putting on the top coat how long until it was truly dry and hard? My nails always seem dry but then I get like creasing on them
Could you please answer a couple of the common questions below? Do you need a base coat to protect from the darker colors? How long did you wait between the color coats and the top coat? How long did it take to dry? thanks!!
Nice review! Thanks for sharing. Question…had you ever tried the Gelous brand in the past. Years back I used the Gelous in layers alternating with ant nail color brand and Seche Vitte (sp?) as a top coat. They dried quickly and were even and thick like gel nails, but lifted just as you mentioned in this video, and actually peeled completely off. Over time, my nails got thinner, dryer, and mishapen. Could you consider posting a longer series on your nail health over time using the Essie gel couture system?
hi I love your video I bought the essie gel couture set step 1 and 2 thinking that I can use them with my lamp led that I also just bought. Can I do that or I shouln't use the lamp. I just want to use the lamp bc I just bought it and want to know if it last longer too
NO, this polish is a mess. It's easy to apply, dries fast, does not chip and is easily removed but it leaves nails with patches of color that won't come out and must grow out. It did this, of course, without a base coat but it also did it with a base coat. No thanks.
Essie does really good polishes as far as consistency, dry time and opacity. Loooove Essie ❤
I find that if you do another coat of the top coat around day 4 or 5, it helps extend the wear to about 10-11 days.
I've had good results with this line. Can get 7 days before chipping. Only one color slightly stained my nails. Otherwise, this is my go to polish.

I have very weak nails. Just started Esse with the nail care and colors. Hopefully will help. So far my nails seem stronger.
OPI Nail Envy is a holy grail for nail strength and growth. I HIGHLY recommend
Love this Essie line, it’s great 🥰💖
I didn’t have any luck with the Sally Hansen, it still chipped on me. Definitely going to give the Essie a try now. Good video, thank you! ❤️
Same!😢 Sally Hansen chipped within 24 hours
Did this brand work better for you?
Can you use the top coat with any regular nail polish?
Honestly the best DIY manicure polishes.
I received "on the list" - 210 today. Thank you for this review ✌
Thank you Chica!
Very nicely explained. ❤ thank you.
very nice and precise review!!! thank you
How was it removing this nail polish? Does it truly remove like a regular polish?
Yes it does. Regular remover...no acetone needed.
Yes
Very helpful, thank you!

How long did it take to dry
With my experience minimum of 20/25 minutes

It's not lamp-cured type of polish so no lamp needed
What's wrong with mine, they chip and get wrinkled in an hour. Are there fake essie? 😔
You may have oily nail beds
@MAJOR ASMR I had the same problem. Garbage product
They take 20/25 mins to dry
Did you buy from the original vendor?
Take sure to put the top coat on the edges of your nail too!
