I have been carrying the PPS M2 for 2 years now... I put TruGlow night sights on it with Talon grips... I simply love this gun!!! Accurate and RELIABLE... I have a Sig P365 X Macro but prefer the Walther instead..
The PPS is the only gun which I would buy used and not feel like I had to go through a long testing period before carrying it. They are dead on reliable.
Just snagged one of these on a gunbroker auction for $303 out the door. One big reason I really like this firearm is because it comes with a built-in striker indicator, which makes appendix holstering a lot more safe, and it’s a feature many other competitors never bothered to include for some reason, and the Glock “ gadget” accessory is like an extra $70-$80 for the same thing. Absolute sleeper edc right now imo.
Yes the thumb over the striker works as an almost failsafe way to reholster. You can literally prevent the striker from firing even if you try to pull the trigger if you press you thumb into the backplate.
Love my walther pps m2, I’ve put hundreds of rounds through it of various ammo no issues, I’ve carried it for years now carry other firearms but I seem to always prefer carrying the m2, it’s a great gun.
I have the original PPS and it is such an aweaome shooter. It is so pleasant to shoot for such a small handgun. Will never sell it and will be on the lookout for a deal on M2
I’m glad you got a walther too! I’ve had one for a couple months and got it for around 300 as well. Awesome reliable little single stack from a well established brand !
Hey listen. You need to get the dpm systems recoil assembly upgrade for your walther. Ditch the 7 rounder. Leave the 6 in the gun while you Carry. Carry three extra mags. That's 30+1 rounds of rock and roll. Put talon grips on the handle for positive retention.
I have a PPS M2, LE edition as one of 3 carry options (the others being a Sig Macro and FN 509c). Well over 1000 rds and it’s been awesome. Eats everything and even though it’s a carry trigger it’s still nice (not mushy/spongy like my Macro). Shoots like a much bigger pistol. You’re gonna like it. It’s outdated (no rail, no optic cut and maxes at 8 rds) but I trust it and carry it when I don’t think I need a pistol on me.
I've heard rumors Walther is coming out with a PPS M3 version soon but I'm not holding my breath. It would be cool if they brought back the rail like they have on the M1 version.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 yup that’s my current ccw but I heavily considering getting a PDP F 3.5 still small but a bit longer and more ergonomic.
@@SAUCE206You can't go wrong with the F series. I've heard great reviews about it. I am also considering getting one of those. I have a PPQ M1 and both the M1 and M2 versions of the PPS, but I'd love to have a smaller version of the PPQ for summer carry.
I can't believe how little love this gun gets. I hear rumors that Walther might be releasing a PPS M3 this year but I'm not holding my breath, and I'm never going to sell my M1 or M2 versions, which I love equally. I tried the flash in the pan Sig P365 and I hated the trigger and it didn't feel right in my hand. The Walther is perfect.
Had a pps m2 and walther creed which has the best trigger I ever shot. Traded both towards a Glock 19 (now a 26) and totally regret my decision. Glock is Glock and I love my 26 but not a fan boy. I was a walther fanboy. That pps m2 diagonal slide cut is so sharp looking. Ugh. I did realize though I shoot double stacks better than single stacks. Walther=winner
@@Catgat37 they have great triggers. Be great for truck or a night stand gun but i wouldnt want to deep concral the mc9 with the very light triggers lol
@@shooter3288 I dig Walthers and Caniks. I wouldn't necessarily want to carry my Q4 SF though, trigger is pretty light. But makes a good home defense option. Recently got a PPS M2 that could be a decent carry option. And I will be getting a P99 soon. The idea of having a DA/SA striker fired gun is kind of appealing for carry.
I bought one yesterday I live in a restricted state that messes with the second not California but Maryland same kinda of stuff 10 rd but you can get higher mags from a different state
I love mine. Zero issues over the past 4 years. It is an interesting design as the serialized portion is the steel insert .. similar to fcu on 365. Would love to see new grip modules and wonder if there is a way for walther to create new grip module and mag to use with existing fcu
Just got mine 2 days ago. I paid about 500 otd. After 250 rounds through it, I have absolutely no regrets. Wish it liked hollowpoints better. But it does seem to like 124gr Sig V crowns. The gun is a sweet shooter.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your enthusiasm - and a such a great price! Over on my channel I just posted a concept illustration for a PPS M3 double stack. Please check it out. Looking forward to your post-range review!

Yes, I love it so far. Can’t wait for the range with it this weekend!
Where did you find that deal?
I’ve had the M2 for 2-3 years now. It’s my favorite EDC. I sold my m&p in favor of it.
There is both a 9mm and .40 version of the PPS M1. I think that is why the gun is built like a tank. It is over engineered for the 9mm.
I was wondering if anyone had the .40 version. Is it super snappy?

The Walther is actually the slimmer pistol at exactly 1” the glock 43 is just above at 1.06.
I thought that was the case. The 43 seems a chunkier. The PPS is a little heavier but it shoots like a dream once you get used to the thin profile.

Yes agreed. I love my Walther pps m2. Super underrated!
Young man with very knowledgeable mind. Thank you
🔥 singe stacks one the best ccw ‼️
Walther makes some really nice pistols! If I was or do get a micro single stack this will be it.
I love the way the pps m2 looks. That trigger might lighten up with use.
Yes agreed. And it has! The trigger has changed to a completely different trigger at this point. love it
@@spnfirearms how light do you think it is now?
Why don’t more pistols have a striker indicator? It seems like a really good safety feature.
I’m not sure but it really is! Some of my Springfield armory handguns have them! (The xd and xdm!)
I’m going to pick one of these up today I can’t wait 😊
Great choice! Respect
I’d love to see a 1911 in your collection. I imagine Springfield would be your best bet
I’ll have to add it to the list!
Tisas (from Turkey) makes a solid 1911 and you’ll save some cash

Do you know of any other handguns that come with the striker indicator?
