Since following your channel I've bought a mammoth squat to use for my pulley system, made this cable attachment, and own more dyneema rope and pulleys than I ever thought I would.
I watched the same Coop video and also made my own with an off-the-shelf pulley, twisted nylon rope and two conical plastic handles. The working weight limit for the pulley is 720 lb, and the nylon rope is 280 lb, way more than I really need. I chose a pulley that can also freely twist left and right. The whole mechanism is quite smooth and really comfortable to grip. The conical grips means there is more friction to your hands so you don't need to grip the ends as hard. Surprisingly I really like the addition of the pulley. My other triceps pulldown rope has a standard stationary center clip and is nowhere near as comfortable to use. I brought my new triceps rope to the gym, had a couple of other people try it, and the reaction was quite positive. I'm glad I made one.
Great vid! This is the concept as the AT Sports Flex. I DIY’d mine with interchangeable handles half a decade ago and it’s been one of my most used pieces of equipment ever since.
Kaizen you're the man! I watched that Coop attachment video last week, and I've been bummed that the Spiral Strength handles are sold out. Now we have a solution - just ordered my parts! Niiice job, o7
@@KaizenDIYGym It's awesome, but I do have one complaint - I had never used gaffers tape before, so I took your suggestion and bought some for this. But it's all coming undone over time... I think maybe a different type of tape would be better, just not sure which.
You always have really good content but man, this 2010s RUclips style of editing is rough to watch. We don’t need explosion graphics, boing sound effects, or laugh tracks. Just be you!
Sorry man, I no longer have the time to edit my own videos so I farm it out. For the record, I included sound effects - dings, laugh tracks, etc - even when I was editing my own stuff. The explosion is new though, and epic as shit!
I like it. I especially like it compared to most modern AI garbage, totally agree with the chap who said that. I watch most things at 1.5x speed, maybe you would enjoy it more like that?

I love it. These things are surprisingly simple to make.

That is awesome!
Simple but awesome!
Another easy knot that will not come undone is a figure 8 variation! (Rope nerd tip)
Sweet! Thanks for the heads up!

That’s awesome. You’re ahead of your time!
Awesome video! The breakdown is great! Well done as usual!
Thank you so much!
Love the attachment. Do you still plan to review the ATX belt squat? I've been waiting to hear your thoughts on it since Home Gym Con.
Yes! I moved and don’t currently have my gym set up but it will eventually happen

Awesome, glad you like it! Thanks for the support!
I really like your Kaiser unilateral cable attachment. El Kaiser strikes again, Thanks Bro 😎
Couldn’t do it without your support! Thank you bro!
Simple and versatile, the best combo for a DIY!
Heck yeah, that’s why this is my favorite!

Awesome tips on the pulley and using rope
Thanks bro! Can’t wait to hang again at the next HomeGymCon!
Great video. Thank you. For the F&F pulley, do you recommend 6mm or 8mm rope? Which will work best? Thank you.
8mm is perfect for the F and F pulley
@@KaizenDIYGym Appreciate you. Thank you.
LOVE IT !!!! just made mine.... AMAZING .. CAN use for other body parts !!!! .. GONNA BE NUTZZZ this week, THANK KYLE !!!!!
Awesome! It’s super easy and many of us already have everything we need. Glad you enjoyed it!
Dope video thumbnail! 🔥
Thank you! I’ve been trying to up my game
Can those small diameter pulleys be used as top/main pulley? Or they’re too small?
They work great with rope. Not so great with cables. That’s the case regardless of the placement of the pulley.
Can you make a lying leg curl machine?
Can I? Yes! Will I? Probably not.
Sounds like the Fringe Mammoth Belt Squat could be available with side mounted horns by Black Friday? I'm considering hold off to purchase.
Awesome! I don’t have the ability to confirm or deny that timeline, but if it’s accurate I’m stoked!
Is the f and f pulley wheel plastic??? I can’t find that info anywhere… because I was thinking to replace them with aluminum ones
Yes.
Grippy handles = missing those sweet forearm gains

That’s amazing, thank you!
You don't have to apologize. Changing things to make them better is who you are. I have a lot of that in me. Good video again.
Yeah! I appreciate the kind words. Ultimately, I’ve gotta keep pushing forward and exploring new things. That’s what keeps me healthy and happy
