Ginger is a very important spice in life.
It's a treasure, it can be used for all kinds of food and drink.
This season’s ginger is just right, so I dug a basket in the ground.
Boiled pork knuckles and ginger, and a plate of Sichuan famous dish: stir-fried rabbit with young ginger.
I also made a few bowls of ginger and milk, and put the rest into kimchi jars.

OMG all these people crying about the rabbit :P Where do you think pork or chicken comes from?? Where do you think beef comes from. She has shown many times her feeding veggies scraps to her animals. I was shocked too but I know the realities of getting food on the table. At least she didn't show it being killed. You are just lucky you can buy your meat all nicely wrapped in the supermarket and pretend you don't know where it comes from or how it is killed. I enjoyed the video as usual :)

I am surprise to see all these comments about the rabbit. Rabit are cute : ok , baby chicken and baby pork are not ? Nobody is disturb when she eat pork....it is only cultural . In France we eat rabbit as well...but i will have difficultés to eat insects even if i know that it could be delicious...don't bé disgusted ...just try to understand.

All you people saying "poor rabbit" and the like. Shut up. It's an animal. She raises and cares for them, just like all of her animals, and she eats them, feeding her family. Do you say "poor cow" or "poor pig" or "poor chicken" when you sit down for dinner?? and no doubt those animals were raised in less caring conditions.
