Therians/otherkins, Furrys, Quadrobists and Zoophiles are COMPLETE diffrent things, so if you want to hate on therians or otherkins please research so you ACTUALLY understand. Being a therian isnt a choice, it’s not all fun and games.

One of my favorite shifts happened when I was seeing a family friend who had two German wirehaired pointers that adore me, probably because I’m a German wirehaired pointer therian. Anyway, one of the dogs, Dolly, was chasing a rabbit and out of instinct I went after her, not realizing it was a shift. She was running through the woods efficiently, even with low lying pine branches. And guess what- I crouched down and efficiently run under the branches and around trees. So satisfying.

I need help from therian. I think I might be one, but I’m not sure. Here’s why: 1. I sometimes feel tails or ears when I’m outside, or just anywhere for that matter. they don’t move, they are just there 2. I sometimes feel the urge to do quads, growl, meow, ect. Hey idk if you still need help but you should definitely look more into jaguars. They are very buff and muscular, they swim often, originate in jungles, climb trees, and growl. They are also very territorial and will eat about anything, but they are partial to birds, fish, and deer.
No disrespect to cats, wolves, or foxes, but I feel like we need comps for all the people with less common theriotypes. I’m a coyote and a raven and I never see those in comps. I think we should have videos for all the avian therians.

The most basic definition I can give is a Therian is someone who identifies as a non-human animal, either psycologically or spiritually. Again this is the most basic definition as it really depends on who you talk to in the community. 2. We know we're human, and that we can't change that. However yes most (if not all) do identify as one or more animal. (if you would like an example, one of my Theriotypes is a wolf. I'm more on the spiritual side when it comes to Therianthropy so one of my past lives was a wolf, and as such I still can identify and resonate with wolves because of it. However I do not speak for others.) 3. No they are not the same. Again, we know we are human and cannot change. While we may experience shifts into the mental or emotional state of our Theriotype, we understand that we cannot physically change and won't be able to. The people who believe they are an animal and can change into that animal/are that animal instead of appearing as a human have a condition called Clinical Lycanthropy, which is a psychological disease.
