Such amazing attention to detail! Gotta feel good to ride something you made with your own hands. The quality of this board is waaaay nicer than a Pyzel I have. Fin box is causing delamination and it’ll break soon. He could take notes from you.
Thanks for your comment! This board is really build like a tank. I could have used a lot less carbon in hindsight. It is a bit heavy. But at least it is not likely to break and it works like it should. Delamination is not fun! Maybe you could ask them to repair it or give you a new one?
I think I put 50 to 60 hours in it! Very good that you enjoyed the build, and the surfing part. Make sure you check out my other video’s as well if you liked this one. 😎
Thanks! I just watched a thousand youtube video’s about surfboard shaping & creating carbon car parts. After that I thought a lot about the whole process and came up with this idea. Next time i will use a lot less carbon because 1 or 2 layers would have been strong enough.
Amazing! Great job! Do you think it would be easy to add another slot for a battery and make it an electric motorized foiler? Also is this your first time shaping a board?
Hey cool that your board works! Nice project. Can you estimate by any chance the volume of your board and do you know the surface of your front wing? Have fun!!
Thanks man! I’m very interested myself in knowing the volume of the board. As soon as I know I will let you guys know. My front wing is a Naish Jet 1650cm2 2021 model. A very nice wing! The rest of my setup is all old naish stuff. Fuselage and stab are 2018 models. I will replace these old items as soon as I can. The mast I use is 75cm Naish lightweight alu.
@@Dzjiefoils Thanks for your reply! Cool, I retrofitted an old thick surfboard by adding US rails but haven't tried it yet. I will try to use my kite foil but get a large front wing. Have you tried wing foiling with your board? cheers
Aristide Athanassiadis sounds good! Creating new things out of old stuff! I have never wing-foild in my life so I can’t tell if the board will work during that kind of sport.
@@tobybloomfield6193 Hi! I bought the foam second hand from a building company. They used it to insulate the concrete floors. You have to look for EPS foam with aa density of 200 or more. The foilbox is from alieexpress.( A Chinese company shipping cheep stuff to the Netherlands, and maybe other countries?) I think this whole build cost around 200 euro’s. You can do it for less because I used way too much carbon. 1 layer would be enough.

Dunno if I can encourage this kind of foiling behaviour 😂but id call that a success, good work!
Foilers never behave! 🏝😳🙌🤦🏼♂️
Amazing
Great job
Keep going
🤙🤙
I thoroughly enjoyed that build and seeing you in water made all of us happy!! How many man hours was that ya think??

Really nice work guys 🤩👍
Thanks man!
Mooi gemaakt! Was zelf aan het denken om in de winter een eigen E-foil te maken van carbon.
Doen!
👍
Awesome job pal! Very inspiring indeed. Based on this I wanna make one myself. By the way is this North sea?
Nice! Go and do it! It will be fun.
hi good to see your work....can I ask where you sourced your deckgrip -please?
It was a very cheap buy from Alieexpress💪👍
Haha super vet dit! 👌👍🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thanks!
Very good work friend. How/where did you learn all the steps to create this board?

I think there is more then enough room to do that. But I probably don’t have the skills to make a watertight removable door for the battery.
Yes this was the first time shaping a board. But now I’m hooked so I’m gonna make more boards!
@@Dzjiefoils dude! I don’t think you lack the skills. Are you crazy! From the looks of it. You can do anything!
Hey, great work!!
How many liters and dimensions the board have ?
I't 4 ft long and 22" wide and almost 6 inches thick at the thickest point. I don't know how many liters it has.
Nw it's time to make a e-foil :-)
Nah, I will stick to a human powered board

Hi, I’m intrested in making my own board, where did you buy the foam from and and the foil box?
And also, roughly how much did this cost to make in total

@@tobybloomfield6193 good luck building your own board! It’s a fun and addictive process.
i saw hor to make a board. i did not see how build wing and tail. how to calculate, draw and build underwater hydrodynamic surfaces.
Thats right. I’m not smart enough for hydrodynamic calculations, I just copy stuff. 🤦🏼♂️
@@Dzjiefoils Me too, ))) I hoped to learn frm you. Decision making, choices, etc ))))
@@sergeigarbar1896 haha sorry!
Welke maten heb je gebruikt en op welke maten heb je de screw channels geplaatst
Alles op gevoel
Could I contact you somehow? I am very interested in your project. Nice Work 👌🤙
