I have dealt with real life Banana Crabs in Guantanamo Bay when I was in the Marines. Massively armored RL and REALLY big. Look them up. Their pincers open coconuts.
I wish these games would stop forcing you to build walls and housing components prior to placing it. It should always be direct material to placement. Requiring so many sub components for crafts has another side effect of forcing you to be inside of the game menu the majority of the game instead of actually playing.
Kind of true but its difficult. You can say to your slave he should built 10 sub components in some time frame for example once per ingame day. So you could automat this process and you could adjust it. Its definetly a challenge with all the subcomponents. This makes crafting a lot complex. You tell your slave built xy and he is missing a subcomponent. You always have to check why he cant craft. Its kind of annoying at the same time as a game feature.
Talked to a few people that played this, and I'll probably play it myself at some point when it comes out. Really this video is just the basics. Apparently a lot of work went into the npc's and such. Late game almost sounds a bit like a tribal version of factorio/sims combined with an open world survival game. Basically a lot of setting things up so that npc's will do the work for you, and apparently the AI is fairly decent and doesn't fail a bunch like some other games. So I guess a bit like Conan also, if instead of getting production bonuses you could actually set your followers up to gather and craft things themselves. Can't really think of another survival crafter that has gone as deep with the workers. For example you can apparently setup your workers to head to a mine periodically, kill the bad guys on it, mine everything, bring it back to your base, and then smelt it all before they head back out to do it again since the mine has respawned. So just a lot more automation than we have seen on a lot of these games before. Although I'm sure it will all come with it's own problems since especially with pvp it adds all new targets for your enemies and more things that you have to protect.

What do you do? Do you still try to produce lemonade? Do you still try to bake cookies? Or do you invest & contribute towards the Chocolate stand? The choice is yours. Everyday in life we are bound to make decisions & choices.
I would simply consume the stand that sells chocolates to nourish me. The owner will be so horrified they will never again sell in my area. While I attain all of his knowledge. You either eat or be eaten, stay up and eat your competition.

100% if you could auto use tools for chopping, mining or skinning with the tools you have just with one button. super quality of life... but maybe some would say it takes away from the emersion
for all of it's faults, since i played once human , i really have a hard time going back to games who requires you to take items from your storage chests to craft . I mean this game even have a quick storage system to auto sort your items by genre ( animals, ore, weapon, food, etc .. )so you can store it quickly, yet you still have to take the items back into your inventory to craft . Please, game developpers, you have to respect gamers time .

@@DDracee I downloaded the demo and played it for a few hours. Honestly, the crafting is almost identical to Conan Exiles, BUT I do think the mask aspect to it is an upgrade. I played Conan Exiles for a few months, and yeah it got boring pretty quickly after I'd pretty much explored the whole map. There wasn't much to do after the exploration was done. That's what made me put the controller down on it. Soulmask, I hope, would know that's one of the things that kills Conan Exiles, and they've got a remedy for it. Soulmask would need a more engaging story, and reasons to keep playing to avoid the same trap. There needs to be interesting things and people to find with activities attached to them in the world. Kind of like how Skyrim did it. It literally took me YEARS before I played Skyrim and actually made it through the story because everywhere I went, there were things pulling me away from the main story.
If this came out in 2014 it probably would've made waves and bodied all of the Rust/Ark hype. These devs definitely have good direction. I'm hoping they can continue polishing the animation and physics.
This game gave me idea. All those buffs we get before raids etc. part of them we could acquire by doing some bloody culting rituals. That would be cool to sacrifice one guild member to give other 30 buffs before the raid. And the dead guy could get instead buff "God's fhoosen" the better version of buff. 😂
The pistol being light penetrating is a letdown. And the AR being tan and green. Its like arrowhead refuses to let the color palettes match in this game
This game is really fun - im digging it on PvP servers. SO FAR - if you have low level armor and weapons you can STILL KILL players with uber neck beard stuff if you block and dodge better. I dig it.
This looks great and I'm on the tit of buying it, however its the possession/thrall mechanic the oddly breaks it for me. When you take them over, the way your mask transfers to them really breaks the feel for me. Removes the sense of progression around your primary character, implying you are actually more the 'mask', as opposed to your human avatar.
Just wanted to give you a quick few words to maybe help you with your decision in buying the game. Honestly , it’s pretty damn fun. I am on server 2012 pve, played for about 4 days now and it’s definitely worth the price. I’ve only ever swapped my soul with one of my tribe members once to see how it works but other than that I’ve yet to touch it. Once you progress to the next area the biomes aesthetics are wonderful it’s like some Celtic highlands vibe. The game is IMPRESSIVELY optimized as well. I vote go for it man you won’t regret it.

Another Early Access Open World Survival game. Idk if its just me, but these types of games just seem "off" to me now after playing and loving Palworld. I do hope there's one game in the future that tops Palworld, but, this one doesn't look like the "one", looks kinda mid No doubt that this game will change a few lives though

This one DOES have NPCs you can automate and bring with you. Very few have NPCs, and most that do have them as nothing more then glorified crafting bench attachments, so it is doing something new.

Whirlwind is for AOE… obviously it doesn’t do as much damage as the basic or heavy attack…. It’s aoe it better have good hitbox.
