Im gobsmacked listening to you for your beautiful music played with an understatement but great lift and joy.Ive heard all the celtic fiddlers from the last and present but you had tears running down my face. Much love keep it goin girl
Beautiful job! I'll be looking for her at this year's Celtic Colours International Festival , somewhere in Cape Breton. Hope they play somewhere near St. Peter's, where I reside. Thanks!
Thankful for Toe tapping lively music by Andrea Beaton and the other musicians. Going to a Celtic Colours Festival is on my to do list, but listening at home is a fine substitute. Praise God for the joy that Andrea Beaton has shared, and for working through the equipment and algorithms that make it accessible to many. Also, when possible remember to support local musicians.
I'm not sure how the 3 of them made it through without shedding a tear. Very emotional for all of them to be playing in memory of Marc no doubt.....and I'm almost positive Andrea was playing Marc's fiddle.
What a beautiful performance. Such a shame that the Celtic Colours video producers can't leave a smidge of time before or after the performance- at the start, to hear Andrea explain that she's playing Marc's fiddle; and at the end, to feel the crowd's appreciation. I notice this on all the produced videos. A big part of CCs is the people who come to appreciate the music in its context of Cape Breton. Think about, CC video producers. Let it breathe a little...
Nice performance. And playing meself Scottish fiddle, I can acknowledge the heritage; but Cape Breton style became a different kind of animal itself. Wouldn't say is better or worse, but is not me cup uf tea.
It’s a Scottish and Cape Breton thing with these strathspeys and marches! Most pipes, especially back in the day, lacked the sharp seventh of their key, so they made use with what they had!
My dad played this tune just like how you played it!❤ His mother was a Beaton too. Amazing how the culture is being maintained by our youth Bravo!
Played it on my phone no less other 100 times and will play more😊
fantastic trio🥰
Fantastic just beautifully played thank you
I've never heard of her before but she's plays the tunes perfectly. I'll be taking note of her name.
Thank you for this. I really enjoy listening to this music.
The real stuff. Yes !!!

This is fair. People should know that although this is an international festival, the crowd always shows for the home team.
and with good reason!
Ah thank you for mentioning that, it makes it all that more special. I do remember that Canada flag on his fiddle!
Andy Radin i like music, not talk.
I can't watch her right and left hand playing the violin. But it is good for first position playing and it's sound awesome. So what....
