This video showcases how Scott HD’s video production quality has grown over the years. From the vinyl labels to the on-screen timer, everything he does is precise and clear. I like the way Scott HD can even make the application of dozens of coatings visually interesting. It must have been hard to splice together all of the footage and, on top of that, create an informative voice-over that is genuine and personable. Bravo!
Your channel is right up there with @ProjectFarm. Except he has a huge following. I hope more people discover you. I wish I had before I had installed my Avalon King. We shall see how it lasts. I’m interested to see if the one with the similar and cheaper bottle does against Avalon King.
Me too. I’m anxious to learn if I can buy it more cheaply in the Autokan version. Feels like Avalon King is raking in big bucks for something worth less than half the price! In addition to whether these products work as advertised, cost is just as important. All reasons why Scott’s testing is so valuable and we should all be supporting him.
@@cynthiaenglish2736 Same here. I just applied the Avalon King a month or two ago. Now I find it appears I may have WAY over paid. But they have an excellent marketing program with all the RUclipsrs that review it AND give their own personalized promo codes. We shall see. I hope the product lasts.
RUclips gold, Interesting and entertaining all at the same time. All kidding aside in my opinion Carpro lite is the best value coating out there, you get a consistent durable product and enough quantity to coat several vehicles with 2 coats all for $50 which for me is invaluable after all the time spent prepping the paint.
excellent work mate the best comparison ive ever seen ive used Fantastic XML unfortunately didn't get to see this video before having the job done, has been around 2 week now, ill update after 1 month passes to tell about the product performance in the one month update video
Hey Scott, brilliant new assignment, I’m very interested to see how these Chinese coatings pan out , I have used a HGKJ coating on plastic and it’s very good, and a very reasonable price, I appreciate the work involved for you in setting this experiment up , brilliant 🇬🇧
A lot of work goes into making your videos amazing. And I thank you for all your time and reviews. By the way I see you got a NSX in back hmm tell me more about that?
Clients car. We did a correction and coating on it about 6 years ago and it's back for a refresher, and we're storing it for him. It's been done for awhile, just moving it around the shop!
October 2021? You always were a step ahead of everyone else Scott! (It's still 30th September here in the UK) I guess you have a time machine? Only kidding Scott, your tests are bloody awesome, I cannot wait to see if any of these Chinese products are actually any good - you never know! Which is kinda why we need these tests right 😂😂
Yesss! Thank you! **Starts** October 1! Since they won't be fully cured yet, I am just going to "rinse and dry" October 1, and will wash it a week later
Pretty sure there have been multiple tests of Avalon King by multiple different people and it seems to be doing well by the testers. Still will be curios to see what Scott sees from it.
Hey Scott, mind provide a picture of the instructio~ manual of the emperor coating? They may list the manufacturer in Chinese and I could help. My NanoAge coating is 7th month and so far it is still beading well. =D
Not at all. It's 100% made in china - even the bubble mailer that you get from it is made in China (I have the import info on both of them, who made them, and when/where they were made).
I wasn’t quite sure what you put in the shine armor section, is it the same as what you used in the “fake shine armor” section or you had a second knockoff?
Yes - see the video. I tried ordering the "real" shine armor from my Amazon account 3 different times, and the order got cancelled each time - I'm pretty sure they are on to me. I should have just had a friend order it for me, but it was a last minute thing to order and just skipped it instead (I put the KNOCKOFF that is next to it on that space too)
I think you'll probably have 3 or 4 fail first wash, 20 or so fail in 3 or 4 months, and get a year out of 3 of them. BTW, I had to chuckle at the Eelhoe direction,s "dump on surface and smear in" :D

Thank you! I'm hoping I'm there one day!
Thanks Scott. Your exhausting hard work is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
This is going to be very fun and interesting! Thank you Scott!
Looking forward to seeing how it works out as I us Avalon king
Avalon King is a very popular coating! It has done alright in testing it in some of my other tests.
Same here. I installed it about two months ago. They have a very good marketing department. I hope I install something moderately worthwhile.
@@davidbundesen5867 yes your right on that

Good to see you following diregtions.
Looking forward to follow this one!
Winner of this test will increase their price to Professional product price
Right?!? Goes from a $19 coating to a $119 coating!
@@ScottHD Thats far fetched. My bet is this series will be your shortest longevity test.
@@Topcoatdetail I'm really hoping it isn't just a week or two haha. I'm pretty sure it won't last as long as the others, but I could be wrong!

It's definitely done great in my other tests! Surprising how well it's doing.

I believe Auto Care is advertised as a 9H protection for up to 6 months (Aliexpress)
I'm watching this video closely because I've actually used one of these on my car so I'm anxious to see that results
WOW thanks for all of your hard work!
My pleasure!

Great job Scott Much appreciated for all your hard work & expense. This Chanel is great asset on keeping it real

Oddly enough - really looking towards the results on this one. Great content again! Thanks for all of your efforts!
This is going to be awesome!
Yessss!
Cool! Now I’m waiting for the gloss meter results of these coatings.
big thanks, ton oh work! thanks Scott truly appreciate all you great info and smart hard work!

I’m interested in your thoughts about the massive overlap in manufacturer and bottle type in the future videos.
The giveaway to many of the chinese ones is that plastic stopper in the top of the bottle - that's why I was showing it when you watch.
Pretty sure there have been multiple tests of Avalon King by multiple different people and it seems to be doing well by the testers. Still will be curios to see what Scott sees from it.
Have tested it a few times here as well - It seems to be doing well in the other tests that haven't ended yet.
sHOULD BE INTERESTING!
Boom!
And there it is!
Kisho does say that they have a manufacturer in China
Ah ok. Good to know.
Excellent👍💯
Thanks again for this...curious as to how the sprays will hold up.
I'm pulling for EElhoe...how can you not with a name like that....lol
Haha
Any way we can get gloss Meter reading between them to see the difference?
I can do some and see. Don't have any before readings... Not expecting miracles with these.
@@ScottHD neither am I haha. But curious to know difference. Maybe between where the tape was could be a before.
Hey Scott, mind provide a picture of the instructio~ manual of the emperor coating? They may list the manufacturer in Chinese and I could help.
My NanoAge coating is 7th month and so far it is still beading well. =D
I'll have to find the instruction manual for it - it may have been discarded after I took the picture of it.
Isn't armor shield us base product?
Nope! But you'd think it is with all the marketing!

@@ScottHD ooh i got confused as u said one in video its from us base or smth
Damn I was about to do this experiment but on glass surface 😂
Already have the glass coatings testing started too!
You waited 3 mins no matter what? Did all coatings come off easy still? I am about to apply a Nano coating.
Yes - mainly because 2-3 min is pretty standard for most coatings to wait. Most of these didn't come with any instructions.
Hi! What's your opinion about dpro h coating? Is it any good?

I don't see fake Adams on their, I'm curious about the fake Adams you had on another video
Trump will love this test.

Haha. I would have to agree.
Will this be your shortest test ever?
We'll find out soon! LOL
So which was the best out of all of these products? Have you found any decent AliExpress coating worth buying ?
Everything is made in china by the same factories. Wouldn’t be surprised if a $400 ceramic coating is the same exact coating as a $25 coating. 🥴🤷🏽♂️
Made in China, that is a seal of q... crappiness!
well, everything you practically own at home including expensive tech from Apple amongst others are made in China
A large majority of coating available are from China. Ceramic Pro is Chinese.
I thought Nanoshine (Ceramic Pro) is based out of Taiwan (Republic of China) - yup.
