Fantastic to see movie history with John Wayne. The scenery is beautiful and the big expanse of blue sky is stunning... A great video tour!

1st visit there was in 1963. Loved it then. Haven't been back in years. Sad when it burnt down

    Mr. Auzzie....idea....
Check with local fire stations,..perhaps they will have an idea where u might find a cool place to pitch ur bedroll for the night.
As a fellow firefighter, I'm sure your question will be well received.
Don't forget the 8 + glàsses of water and wet towels around the neck.... Bless you

It should start cooling down in September July was a hard one everyday was blistering hot. It’s been a bit cooler lately so my a/c unit does alot better now thankfully next year I’m think I’ll install a mini split unit.

We’ve been to tombstone. I haven’t been to This one. Tumacacori is a National Park I’m interested in in that area. Have you seen the wild horses at salt river?

We were there on Monday and all they offer during day is a tour. No stores open, no train, no petting zoo, etc..At night on certain days they have Yuletide with certain events. People need to check the website before making the trip out there. They are under new ownership.
