They also added a couple new Pokémon in that version. I was confused why Totodile looked different than what I was familiar with. Then I remembered they added an alternate version of Totodile in the gun version.
This entire video is a testament to the potential directions a convergent evolution could go from the original species; hell, that Kanto Starter trio is a prime example.
John always getting a shiny is like how my dad works around computers. Whenever he walks into the room every electronic will just start working. If he tries the same thing we did for hours it will work on the first try. This is no coincidence as it has been happening for years.
My power is the opposite. Any electronics I'm around (I don't even have to touch them) stop working, lol. I learned how to repair a lot of my own stuff, from cars to computers, just because of this, lol. I'm jealous of your dad's power, lol. My husband is like that. So when I "break" stuff, I look extra inept. 😂
Gyarados finally got the dragon type it rightfully deserves. Based on a real dragon tale and based on a Chinese dragon. Looks like a Chinese dragon. I really like it's look.

(At least, for your information, the chair Pokémon at 20:16 is something that I first saw in one of the first Fakemon fan games that I saw MANY years ago. FYI, Shiny Rate is 1/200. And the game is AlteRed version. There is also a version called AlteRed with a Gun which is harder and adds a couple of brand new Pokémon.
Small mistake about their power levels being multipled, it is both add and multipled to together, same with the potara fusion, but the potara fusion is considered better as it can increase it's fusions power more, no I'm pretty sure the fusion dance doesn't have the same restrictions (the potara's time runs up quicker the being surpasses their power, but I'm pretty sure the fusion dance doesn't have that problem) @@tedsterrdumbstuff4936

I caught a Shiny Poochiever when I first started too! Edit: I just caught 3 more shinies in Viridian forest, this is getting ridiculous Edit 2: I just updated my game and now it has a 100% shiny rate, so finding shinies doesn't fell the same anymore

This was a pokemon rollercoaster in the simplest terms and getting a shiny in the first minutes just felt right
