After a long time, I finally came around sharing my experiments with mixing my own colours and I have to say, it's pretty fun! I really recommend it as a creative exercise if you have paints that at some point you got, but were not really to your taste. Have you tried this before or do you want to?

I mix my own acrylics in transparent plastic little jars, and i noticed that the color in the bottom never mixes. I think maybe a stick is too little to do it well, and need to use something bigger, like a palette knife
It could be, as acrylics are thicker they may need more substantial mixing.
