It is very nice that you mention that it is also work on striped bass. I had looked into this lure. It doesn't seem to have a through wire construction, can it stand against heavy striped bass from 20lbs-40lbs in a fast running current? If you also have to switch the hooks and split ring, will it kill the the action?
