    The attention to detail on that Onslow is awesome. I did a walkthru before I pulled the trigger on my Cobia. Its hard to beat that cobia for the price point with the Varis process.

    On the way back last year, we had a trailing sea 4-5ft, eventhough we were on a 28ft we barely hit 20mph because the waves were so far that I would stuff the bow going any faster, so I was on the throttle the whole ride, took me 3.5 hours.

      Yea when they are rolling that big you can't just plow thru them because you end up falling on the front end of the wave and dunk the bow where you can not even slow down cause the rest of the wave is coming up behind you! I try not to get caught in that but it does happen 3.5 is a decent time for those conditions

    I used to do this crossing with my dad when I was a kid then as an adult until I sold my last boat. It’s been over ten years but I’ve got a 26ft almost ready for the water I can’t wait to get back out there.

      It’s not as bad as it might seems 50 miles and your right there! You still see Miami up to 20 miles off shore and once 10 off of Bimini you see the ships also!

    I had a betta fish named Bimini, he died. Got gill disease so gave him fish antibiotics...made him go blind 😅. I don't know why this is so funny now, but it was downhill after that so we helped him along and put him in a cup of Vodka until you know, passed, then buried him outside 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😅
    We tried to help him 😢😅
    Anyway, like your videos...will keep watching...

      It was really not directed at anyone in particular but people ask me all the time hey can I make it Thur that in my 22-23 ft boat and I decided to answer it in that moment which is yes you can just will take you a little bit longer.

    Very good video a lot of information on the crossing and great picture quality . I felt if I was on the boat and I was wondering how much fuel did you use to cross to Bimini ?I think you 1.5 a few times and I thought I was ask anyway,thank you and great video.

      I was burning at around 1.5 mpg but I usually waste in a weekend to Bimini half a tank which comes out to be about 100 gallons of fuel give or take depending on sea condition's

    How come your depth kept reading only 134 feet. Isn’t it like 3000 feet deep around like half way ?

      It’s reading 1340 it does not pick up anything deeper then that

      sometimes when you run the transducer dosent pick up a signal, it gets left behind till you slow down or your transducer maxed out

      Yes I have seen 21ft sea hunts make it and 19ft jet boats. Just need to find a good weather window
