Tamanique Waterfalls Hike | El Salvador Travel Vlog | Indian Couple

- The Tamanique Waterfalls are set in the middle of lush vegetation with 4 beautiful waterfalls and cascades along with natural emerald pools to swim or jump in. We visited the waterfalls during our stay near the Bitcoin beach, El Zonte.
We used a public bus and a shared private car to reach Tamanique. A guide is required to visit the waterfalls. There is an office near the town center that provides information about the hike, receives the payment, and allocates a guide to each group of visitors.
The hike is not difficult in most parts. The first 3 waterfalls are comparatively easier to reach, while the 4th waterfall has 90+ stairs. You need to go downhill to reach all the waterfalls, so expect climbing all the way up for return, as it is the same trail.

The tamanique waterfalls its a famous spot between tourists due that it's close to the coast but we got to many waterfalls in the Country anther one close to you its Los Chorros de la Calera at Juayua another beautifilul spot between tourist 😀 enjoy El Salvador ...greetings ..

I did tamanique in January , the walk up and down to get to the waterfall was no joke . It was beautiful and unique but I would never to that walk again 😂
Hola Alex. Jajaja… yes, it was not easy, particularly given the heat and humidity of Tamanique. Have you done the Santa Ana/ Ilamatepec volcano hike? Although it’s a longer hike, we found it easier. And if you’re looking for difficult hikes, try the Acatenango volcano hike in Guatemala! 😃

Is it worth visiting without knowing how to swim?
It is shallow at places, so you can still enjoy the cool water. Also, the hike and the views are beautiful. So it can still be worth the time.
