Sorry, haven't got a three phase forniture. Home contract is 230V single phase 4,5Kw continuous load.... Without ballast, simply the magnetization inrush current will trip all the breaker son the line :D

Does 600W HPS Ballast work with single phase connection? 230V 6,2A. And is the LV Neutral linked to the earth? And the arcing stick, where does it go? To earth?

Don't know... with no load you get something near the real output of the transformer. With load (arc) output voltage drops a lot because of the voltage drop in the ballast.

MrRedeyedJedi haven't measured output current, but 20kv at 10KVA in, it may be around 0.5A.

Yes... I run it powered with 230V between one LV phase and LV neutral. In normal use it's powered on the 20Kv side to get 400V/230V.

20KV with a couple of amps is something. This setup is delivering a peak of 2A, according to my calculations.

Le transformateur est réversible mais attention cette expérience est très dangereuse 20 KV = DANGER DE MORT!!!
