I guess F-Zero technically didn’t miss the Switch, but I hope a true sequel will come back for Switch 2. Star Fox and Kid Icarus definitely should come back.
@ Kid Icarus maybe. Why do you think Star Fox? I don’t think the Wii U game should be a factor because the gameplay flaws were entirely Nintendo’s fault. That hurt the game’s sales.
@@terrysyvertson9205 Star Fox has insane potential, especially if it releases in the first year of the Switch 2, and fans are clammoring for more Kid Icarus, so it's really just a case of Nintendo-needs-to-find-a-dev-team-that-wants-to-make-Kid-Icarus-itis
Any calls out for a new Star Fox game gets a thumbs up for me. Just keep it as an on rails shooter. No on foot levels. Maybe 1 or 2 tank levels. Don't need the Sub either. Just let me shoot things in space and on planets with my Space Ship. That's IT. With online leaderboards. Definitely want a new Kid Icarus. the 3DS game was one of my favorite games on that system. Sin and Punishment also great, but yeah we aren't getting that. I am sensing we have similar tastes in games John. Though I don't see really any of these seeing sequels unless they are tiny eshop titles. They just don't sell.
I don’t know how likely it would be but I’d love to see a new Punch Out especially after seeing all the Punch Out references in the Mario movie. Also, yes, Captain Toad is a great game/series.
@@storiedworlds6261it's not a rumor, it's 100% true that Nintendo will let the ip die because it's not popular or profitable enough to keep it alive and the last punchout game didn't actually sell all that well at all
Starlink: Battle for Atlus (Nintendo Switch Version) with the StarFox Crew, I can see the StarFox IP take lot of inspiration from that game to be a next line entry.
Nintendo has been getting more creative with stuff like Peach Showtime, bakeru, Kirby forgotten Lands so I'd like to see them keep this up. I wanna see dk return to jungle beat style, a new 2D or 3D Wario from good feel, a xenoblade vs fire emblem fighting game, and SOMETHING has to be going on with kids icarus uprising. A sequel, remake, remaster, etc
Back in 2017, I don't think anyone saw a Famicom Detective Club revival coming on Switch, so anything really is on the table. Wave Race or Rhythm Heaven would be cool.
I really want a new Kid Icarus game, that's my Number 1 pick. Aside from that, while I've never played a Custom Robo game, despite my love of Mechs, I'd very much like to give it a try. My idea, that will never happen, is that given the surging popularity of Plamo, and Gunpla specifically, maybe a new Custom Robo game could feature an element where the player builds their Mech from a model kit before sending it to battle. It's kind of a silly gimmick, sure, but why not?
I also kind of miss rail shooters. With House of the dead flopping on switch it kinda killed off my interest to play it. But I'm totally into Nintendo bringing it back with Star Fox primarily but also Kid Icarus and Sin and Punishment. Would be nice if they could figure out a gun attachment controller again like the wii zapper. And figure out a way to port Duck Hunt. I never heard of X though so I'm very curious about finding that DS release now.
Fur Squadron & Whisker Squadron are pretty good on rail shooters, their sequels are better, Fur Squadron Phoenix & Whisker Squadron Survivor. Fur Squadron Phoenix is one example of how to make a good sequel, definitely up there with Banjo Tooie & Fossil Fighters Champions.
Nintendo won't let the Chibi-Robo ip come back, they eant it to stay dead, sakurai himself said he has no interest in taking over the kid Icarus IP and Uprising was a one time thing, and no, Nintendo doesn't make him make smash, he choses to make smash, Nintendo doesn't want wario to ever be a treasure hunter ever again so wario land/world isn't coming back ever, sin & Punishment was never popular or profitable and Nintendo doesn't care about it, custom robo is a dead ip, and x is also a dead ip and Nintendo doesn't care about it
@Kevin-i2b Nintendo doesn't care about Chibi-Robo and they have no interest in bringing it back, the series was never popular at all and none of the games sold that well
I guess F-Zero technically didn’t miss the Switch, but I hope a true sequel will come back for Switch 2.
Star Fox and Kid Icarus definitely should come back.
star fox and kid Icarus are dead IPs and not coming back ever

Man we need a new Golden Sun on the Switch 2

Getting remasters of F-Zero GX and Wario World would be great.
No. We need NEW games. Screw remasters of anything.
Nintendo won't allow wario world/land to come back ever, they don't want wario treasure hunting ever again

Punchout!?
dont forget the rumored zelda stuff like TP and TWW would be perfect on switch 2 exclusive for selling systems
those are fake rumors

Sometimes I believe mythical ninja goemon is from a different timeline.
konami has no interest in reviving that IP ever
Yes, Sin & Punishment is another great series.
I have so many AR cards from Kid Ikarus on 3DS I would love to see fight in HD on Switch 2!
With Switch having had the codename NX I was sure we would get F-Zero NX as a sequel to GX on it. Lets hooe Switch 2 will get it!
