Thank you PBW!
You shaped me almost ten years ago!
I might still be young but I would be a different person today had it not be for Stones Throw records!
Mr. Bowman was the sh*t. I had a high school teacher who burned me CDs of The Replacements and the Velvet Underground. Teachers that expose their students to good music are the best.
Boring? Peanut Butter Wolf is just a very relaxed, mellow dude. Not to mention one the knowledgable and friendly dudes in the game.
Met PBW in New Orleans in 1999 and got a pic with him. Very cool guy.
Grew up with Charizma & have known Chris (PBW) since the early 90's. Cool. As. F$%^. He's a strictly LA cat now but if you can link up with him, pick his brain for vinyl knowledge man! Dude is a beast!
RIP Charizma
I like what he said....."I still get that rush when I'm in a record store"...... A great disorder to have !!!
Not good for my wallet
I would've assumed that a digger like Wolf would spend more than $200 on records. That's cool as hell to me! Gives people that don't have big money hope that they can still find awesome stuff.
only time crate differs spend that kind of money is at record shows
this man is legend
He's doing what he loves, I really don't think he's depressed. He's just, relaxed, and monotone.
Knowing that he’s L.A.based and knowing what housing prices are out here , I’m so curious where he lives with that huge backyard.
This whole series is just plain cool. Word to Fuse for making this shit happen! We're taken inside these headline producers / DJs inner sanctums and they give us time and insight into their collections and digging styles. That's massive!!
wow , that untitled 45 by the throbbing gristle is probably rare as fuck
united*
ahh my bad
Love it. I find out so much about music this way. Keep em coming.
Very few will ever have a collection like this.
I LOVE THIS SERIES "Crate Digger's" Keep up the great work over there at Fuse !!!
Rest in Peace Charizma

LEGEND
hell yeah!
I first heard of Peanut Butter Wolf around 5 years ago while searching for rappers/ hip hop producers from San Jose, Ca. since that's where i'm from. About 3 months ago my Uncle told me that P.B.W. is his really good friend and they went to high school together. Now my Uncle is trying to link me up with P.B.W. & Stones Throw Records.. hope it happens soon!!!
Lmaaaooo! YES.
That would be dope!
That Throbbing Gristle's really got me excited.
PB wolf is a king
Val Shively let me dig around his upper floors for a full day almost 20 years ago. I had known of the store since it was local to me and one day he came in the book store I worked in and I mentioned wanting ti get over there and he told me to come on my next day off and hed let me search around. I didnt know at the time that that kind of thing doesnt happen

One on Shadow would be amazing too!
I moved 3000lps and thought it was total hell. I can't imagine 15,000! WOW!
That's pretty dope man.. too bad Charizma's life was cut short, he could've helped put the South Bay on the map. I'd love to hook up with Peanut Butter Wolf. My Uncle talked to him on the phone, and whenever he comes back to San Jo he's gonna try to make to time meet up with us! We'll see!! Thanks!!!
Viewing the thumbnail for this video, I thought you were trying to look like Alex from A Clockwork Orange.
DUDE GETS A RUSH LOL
man...we are serious hoarders when it comes to this!
this is a very great to watch for a digger!
go talk to DITC!
Metal Box! Fucking hell hat has to be one of the most frightening records I've ever heard.
0:53 - 1:15 Awesome :D
I remember my brother had that Realistic Radio Shack Mixer,no tables. He used to try to fuck me up for stealing it all the time. The crossfader was horrible because it bled like crazy but it was better than what I was using.I would take hook my turntables on to this stereo receiver I rigged one table on the right speaker and one on the left and use the balancer as my crossfader.
I HAVE THAT SAME DAMN STEREO MIXER!!! I DONT USE IT THO, I ENDED UP FRYING THE DAMN THING....LOL!
could someone PLEASE tell me where that nice break is from at 4:33? - thanks in advance!
I shore do...
Wouldn't be awesome if he release all his old mixtapes and stuff??? :D

0:10 "Wack Tapes," lol.
Why is it every collection I see, all of the records are shelved lopsided. Does that not warp the records
Even record stores have them like that a lot of the time
Did anyone know the song from 1:16 - 1:27 ? Tnx!!
What is that at 7:23???? sick
Nothing to smile about in Peanut Butter Wolf’s life
I don't even have 300 but that's an impressive number haha
