ICONIC Bands/Musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 70's! Along with Malo, Carlos Santana, El Chicano, Tower of Power!! WAR!!. Thank You!! for all the great memories and beautiful music. ❤🙏
Jorge Santana, Arcelio Garcia and Rudy Salas left us before their time in my opinion. They accomplished a lot to the music world with their timeless songs. They had a lot more of their talent to contribute in my humble opinion. Rest In Peace. 🇺🇸🇲🇽✝️💜❤️☀️🌟
I would really like to see a Latino production company make a movie about their lives. It’s the classic brothers growing up in East Los Angeles, recorded records at a really young age, participated in the Chicano led walk-outs of 1968, became successful recording artists, winning best R & B song, individually pursued education Steve went to Stanford, the brothers then had creative differences thus breaking up the band with each forming their own groups, and ultimately reuniting before their untimely passing. It should be made into a movie. They never forgot their roots in L.A. and were activists creating changes in education for generations to come.
Funny Girl, I actually thought that very same thing. Wouldn't it be great if Edward James Olmos and Daniel Valdez could get together and produce and direct this bio movie?
@@tata19nana I think Edward James Olmos could have crossed paths or known them because they were from the same part of town. Eva Longoria also produces Latino themed projects. Someone should do it. It’s a story worth telling.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post the video of their singing performance on that day!! Unfortunately, the lead singer Steve Salas passed away last week due to complications of COVID and his brother Rudy passed away due to Covid close to a year ago. May Steve and his brother Rudy both REST IN POWER ❤️
