Great Video Kindness. Thanks for all the effort you put in. I currently spend about 1500 RUBLES (18 eur) In moscow Per week for grocery. my shoping tip is never do grocery shop when your hungry , and also prefer shoping online sothat you monitor how much you are adding to cart, and stay within budget 😂😂😂

Maxima is cheaper than IKI, but still has very high prices for non-food items, like laundry detergents, toothpaste, etc. for that kind of items one needs to wait for special discount days. Or go to DEPO or Thomas Philipps. Prices there are somewhat consistently low. If maxima can do 40 or 50 percent for whole product category of cosmetics and detergents, like it does sometimes, and still not lose money, it means margin there is extremely high.

things are not as cheap as they used to be.
my monthly grocery budget has gone up by 20% - 25%. Things are still affordable but not has before.
I have the discount card of all 3 major store, it helps most times.

I go shopping to Rimi because it's the only shop close to my place of living. In Poland food is also expensive now but the prices of some products on Lithuania are extremely high! E.g. oat milk - cheapest in Rimi costs 2,05€, and in Poland it's around 1€.

Thanks so much for your comment, Jagoda. I loved Poland when I visited, I agree things are quite affordable there than in LT. Things are expensive in LT now. Also, I can't get my head around why Oat milk is expensive. I am with you on that.

the attitude towards prices depends on the earned salary. In this case, prices have risen, but salaries have also risen significantly...
