As a Ute, I can’t wait for November 9th. The Holy War is always special, but even more so when both teams are good and there’s conference title implications on the line. It’s going to feel like Mountain West days again. Hope the Cougs can take care of the Cats next week so our road to the to the title gets easier - nothing looks better than a blowout win against a ranked rival 😏

A team with a chip on their shoulder and a great coach is nothing but trouble, especially in a rivalry game. As much as I hate the team down South, I love to see Sitake succeed, especially when all the pundits predicted a 13th place finish for you guys. Nothing but respect, I’m hoping the Utes and the Cougs run this pillow-soft conference just like we did 20 years ago

Being here now at 8-0 and watching BYU continuing to be led into the promised land by the BYJew after 40 years of curses, championship drought, and missed opportunities, is one of the coolest stretches of BYU football I have ever been alive to see, here’s hoping it continues at least another day
Literally the rest of the season is determined by this Arizona game. 2 PM local. Fox Big Noon Kickoff in town. Ranked #14. I really hope the Vampire Cougs curse ended at Baylor.
I remember watching that night Baylor game and the announcer shouted out he moon like 7 times and we would burst out laughing every time. The camera man kept zooming in on the moon like he was hypnotized
I wonder if the "vampire Cougs" is because of playing homes games vs teams from central/Eastern time zones? Maybe we take advantage of our elevation and their minds/bodies being 1-2 hours more tired than our team?
That'll happen. We get kind of emotional about our cougs. And there are always Utes in our message boards harassing us. So get a little angry when we see Utes 😂
The only reason Utah didn't win was because we had a terrible quarterback that lost us against your team and a sucken Mountain west team. But then we got are good quarter back Cam Rising and beat 9-1 Oregon to later become conference champs.
Ain't what he used to be anymore. I missed that last Utah game. There saying that it was pretty bad. I guess I can't argue, cause I didn't see it and I never will. No sense in tuning in for a good laugh. I feel bad for the OC though. I think he was pushed out, to be honest. It's all handled with politics.
The “football gods” line was just a storytelling device, not meant to be taken seriously. Just showing how seemingly strange their stats are. And the “vampire cougs” line is because they play poorly during the day and far better once the sun goes down. Like vampires, they only come out at night.

Imo you tend to get higher quality teams during prime time day slots. Harder teams increase chance for loss.
