    Listened to Chase Daniels breakdown on the JF1 throw to Mooney. He was certain Mooney had a slant option on the out and based on the look should have taken that and that was what JF1 was expecting. He then has to adjust to make the throw outside. Makes much more sense than what Josh was talking about. You can in Justin's base footwork he is looking to throw it inside, his feet are in place for a slant.

    Tom Grossi brought up a point I never thought about. George always says he is not an evaluator of talent so he always gets guys who their strengths are scouting/eval talent. Then the team just becomes a bunch of potentials and nobody is there who knows how to develop them. Nobody gets better due to coaching on this team, if they don't come here with the skills already they will die on the vine.

    • @I.apologist
      @I.apologist 11 месяцев назад

      Tell Tom this ain’t peewee football. Everyone comes to the NFL with skill. ESPECIALLY if you are a first-rounder like seriously. These coaches can only do so much, they can teach them how to play football on a basic level, I’m sure if they could drug everyone up with superpowers they would, they only devise game plans so that they may display the skill that they should already have. So Grossi’s point is moot, no one should have their hands held all the time.

Might have caused it to go a little to the outside shoulder... regardless, as Josh said, things like this happenand JF has to continue to throw these anticapatory throws just like th receivers need to help build some more trust with him on them.

    Did he litterally say this is a "Good Job by the OL" lol wow bro the OL on the first play he shows. Borom literally is getting WALKED BACK into the lap of the QB. He said multiple times Cody's a little late, Borom gets rocked back. So the OL was not Terrible on this play but they werent good. Guess who wasnt terrible on this play (a little late) Justin Fields. See we can grade the team with 2 different lenses. Either you did your job or you didnt. JF double cluthes and holds the ball to long. OL late on picking up the stunt. LT getting WHIPPED on a bull rush (Borom had a terrible game by the way) normally this play kills the bears through the first 3 weeks. Expecting our QB to bail out bad OL play because if the ball is not out on time every throw then we are in trouble

Justin and Kmet said this today.

      @bigdap100 11 месяцев назад

      @@I.apologist there is no such thing as a route that snatches in the opposite direction at the end...unless it’s a Mahomes and Kelce type improvisation...
      When Justin said make a “football play” he’s saying have common senses and Protect the route.
      Kmet has screwed up like they before and caused an interception...I mentioned this last year....
      Justin Fields doesn’t trust the receivers b/c they give bad intel, they are a bad read unless they are running a streak b/c at that point he doesn’t have to rely on them making a smart cut on the defender....
      I can tell just by watching them, he’s not afraid to throw he’s not sure how they are going to run their route.
      And last year some of the receivers ADMITTED that they run the wrong routes‼️
      When you hear players talk about being great route runners...this is what they’re talking about....being intelligent in real time so that the QB can trust you.
      The WR are the QBs eyes up the field, they actually participate in reading the defense...they don’t just run the lines as they are drawn on paper, they respond in real time to the safety and defense b/c it takes the burden off the QB so that he doesn’t have to be frikkin’ Xavier from the X-Men and see in different directions at once...
      Being a great QB starts with can you actually throw the ball...yes, Fields has an outstanding arm talent, the other thing is, can the QB operate as one mind with the offense, that’s where QBs get all of their praise, it comes when all of them play well together.

    • @I.apologist
      @I.apologist 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@bigdap100 Dude, that is so not true. Kmet and Justin literally admitted this today bro. Stop making excuses. Kmet was supposed to see if the DB was zoning or manning the coverage. It was a man, so as they practiced all camp, kmet was supposed to get more depth, which is why he zig-zagged away from the defender! Go look at the current interviews, Justin never said he ran the wrong route! He said Kmet followed the rules there, it was on him. This means he thought he was Mahomes and he thought he had Kelce, which is a joke, neither can sniff Mahomes or Kelce's shoes when it comes to improvisation. Justin didn't let the TE get more depth behind the sticks. He threw the ball right to the defender. It was his mental mistake. Not to mention, he is the one who made the grounding penalty beforehand. You talking about last year is a moot point, we have different receivers now, and we talking about this play that iced the game. The excuses are running thin.

    Fields is historically bad. Indeed, he's the worst QB to ever hold a position consistently. Did you know that Charlie Frye is 2nd all time on the TO/G list by a QB with more than 25 starts? Fields is not only #1 on the list, he's ahead of second place by nearly a full .5 turnover. Fields turns the ball over about 2.5 times the rate of an average QB. Fields is utter garbage, and we can get a new coaching staff as well, but we absolutely need to move on from Fields and Poles for bringing him back. It's not like he's also productive; he's the losingest, most TO prone QB in history (those aren't over-statements, those are statistical facts)...and he doesn't accumulate yards or points on average. His best season so far, he threw for less than 2,250 yards. I know it's fun to watch him run around, but people need to come to their senses. He really does have a case already as the worst QB of all time that actually plays.
