Chris Judge is a legend man! He was also on the Stargate show. He was in House Party 2 (my favorite one in the series 😂). I feel Chris Judge could play D-Mob in a live action version of Def Jam FFNY. Shout out to the legend 💪🏿

If u get martial arts as ur second fighting style it will help u get off attacks and combos faster because submissions style fighting is already super slow.

I played this game so many times growing and it took for me to an adult to realize who chris judge was crazy
When you grab a weapon you can run with it. Run towards your opponent and then swing it. almost a guaranteed hit every time
Submission is really OP of a fighting style once you add street fighting and kickboxing into your arsenal. Enemies health will deplete almost completely in a blink of an eye 😂. Get used to using heavy grabs as it will benefit you especially with (grappler) builds. When doing submissions, go for the same submission to submit your enemies faster.
1 more fact: Since your primary is Submission, You can turn the enemies around after the heavy grapple (L1/LB) this also works with Wrestling build aswell.
Also enable "Manual Hardware Fixes" then increase the "Skipdraw" range to 8 as it will make the game look alot better and reduce the flickering

Everyone has their opinion but for me I'd say go with kickboxing as a second fighting style...heavy grapple combos can lead into any submission move ya want for more damage🤷🏽♂️🍻🍺

Lil tip for Dev points is tried not spending it when you 1st enter story mode.Try going after 3 or four fights it helps build points but you’ll gain more by applying damage using the crowd more using wall objects & heavy grapples.
I appreciate y’all RUclipsrs keeping this game alive but hands down I’m the mfn goat at this game I damn near had every stat higher than 90 speed was 99 😂my fighting styles were street fighting martial art kick boxing ngl that submission style weak af my boy😂

Yo certain submissions do more limb damage then others and have a stun capability similar to fat joes pedigree I would suggest getting street fighting or kickboxing for sure to get better punches and kicks to chain with the submissions
The more Limb damage you do the weaker you opponents punches or kicks will be as well
Man you might as well do every style! I’m loving this. But PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR REVERSE GAME IS ELITE WITH SUBMISSIONS AS A STYLE. You can’t KO from punches unless you got streetfighting or Kickboxing (clinch grab) as a style. Obviously you can counter when they grab but learn how to reverse attacks and you’ll fly though everyone. And with submissions the sooner you upgrade your stats the better ! And the first time you get knocked down you always get up slowly, the second time you get faster, but with health and toughness upgrades you get up quicker!

Jay z was the president of DEF JAM in 2004 let alone he didn’t want the job so when the came out he was supposed to a playable character he didn’t want to be in something let alone make money off his name. Just like LL Cool J was suppose to be game but instead they put flavor flav and the funny part they misspelled flavor flav name in the game 😂

Yo spam the buttons when you get the CPU in a submission to keep it in longer, same way how you gotta spam em to get out the submissions.
Yes and No. You can spam buttons to escape but don't spam while your doing them as it will stop you from finishing the submission.
