I'd rather have a medicated doctor than one who's not facing their ish. We're all better when we're in it together, my doc told me she's on Prozac as she prescribed it for me. 👏
I love it when doctors say that! I had the nurse when I was getting birth control (finally) go "I'm on it and when it sets in you're going to cry out of happiness" and I damn near did when I got on track fully :)
@@lovelysakurapetalsyt oh yes! People underestimate what birth control can do for some. As a gay woman, there's no point for me to take it, but having normal hormone levels and not feeling like I'm on my period 24/7 (pain, nausea, exhaustion) is a blessing.
Even doctors and nurses need help with mental health. Most people don't understand it's extremely taxing on you when you have long hours on your feet with sick and dying patients. It takes it's toll on your physical, mental and emotional well being.

I’ve been battling the same thing and crippling anxiety….you always feel everyone else has it all together , then you see everyone has their inner feelings or hurts…. God Bless You! You are in my Prayers! Never feel alone or that others don’t understand, because we all do!
Props man! I've worked in healthcare for 15 years and am openly bipolar. I take my meds twice a day and talk about the condition openly. A lot of doctors, nurses, and other staff feel the stigma and just being open about it helps people realize it's not that big a deal. If you need blood pressure meds no one cares. If you need meds for depression, anxiety, BPD, schizophrenia or whatever, just be open about it if you are comfortable being so. It saves a lot of lives and heartache.
This is beautiful. So many doctors are underappreciated and under valued especially now, during the pandemic, and the fact that not only did you have the courage to post it online that you indeed were suffering and were getting help, but you also helped start a movement to #endthestigma is absolutely wild. Hell yea doctor man!!
The stigma that goes along with having a mental illness even without being a Dr is ridiculous so I can't imagine how being in the healthcare field and having a mental illness is. You're very brave. Thanks 😊
I applaud you and everyone so open about mental health. I myself have depression and anxiety and dont medicate for many reasons but soo happy we can stop hiding from it🙏🏻❤️

Healthcare workers usually need the most help (I know, I am one)…way over worked and all managed does is try to push drugs in you. Like trying to push adderal on over worked employees. So they can do the job of 5 people. It’s like drug pushing salve drivers at this point.
