insanely underrated channel. Amazing send! And the in depth look at the route + the history of the area from the first ascensionist was an awesome touch
Another great video dude. Love the close ups of the handholds, gear and foot placements. I can see you don't climb with a headcam so I really do appreciate the extra effort you put in to these productions.
Thanks again man! I personally don't like go-pro footage, I think it actually makes the climbing harder to comprehend. This let's you see the movement/holds/gear/ and also not get motion sick haha
What a wild route! Ran into Ben while he was getting up on something near Glass Menagerie and he said you two met up! Awesome video, always appreciate the in-depth view of the holds and gear while climbing.
Love that area I did my first aid line up invisible airways P2 and P3. The lower free part is also amazing. The most like west coast climbing you can get in the Southeast for sure!!
Found your channel through your Minimoon account in instagram Great video, really enjoyed the history/story behind the climb as well as the process you went through to climb it. Nice work!

Wow, thank you for being so kind. We're trying to psyche normal people up to try hard!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Man I appreciate your knowledge of ethics and whatnot when considering the bolt!
Cool to see you in my neck of the woods! Loved the interview with Ben! He's just the best.
He is really kind, it was great to meet him. Thanks for your kindness!
I love your videos man. you are truly on the cutting edge of climbing RUclips.
Same to you man! Keep ripping 'em.
Such a beautiful and unique scenery my friend! Amazing work!
Yikes! The Gunks have really helped you hone your gear game! Thanks for the video!
Spooky spooky. Thank you for watching!
Wow, that was really cool. Getting those close ups is awesome and the transitions made them look really natural. 👍
I have my wife to thank for that, you'd be lucky you get a grainy butt-shot filmed with a potato if it wasn't for her.
@@headpointhandbook credit where due. 🤙
Well done! Great to see the N Side and NC getting some love. Super impressive
It's amazing there heading back in October! Thank you.
@@headpointhandbook Gotta suspect you didn't make it back here last month.

Ben's a gentleman! Thank you for watching.
Great style, pulling that draw off and reclipping a new one was awesome!
Thanks! I felt like such a dope doing that but my stupid ethics wouldn't allow the pre-placement! Glad you appreciate it.

It was sick! That huge flake waiting to teeter over had me shaking though.

Fantastic send. Good to see you're back. Just subscribed.
Thank you! Never left, just don't stick to a schedule and locked it up for winter training.
Terrific, detailed video as always. The closest I'll ever come to experiencing a 5.12d send myself!
Haha anybody can climb 12d! Just a bit of effort. Try headpointing!
I’m pretty sure I see this guy at cultivate all the time! I love seeing NC getting some well deserved loved breaking it out of the shadows!
NC is rad! Ben is an entrenched local, if you turn over a stone at looking glass you may find him haha
reminds me of having little ones and climbing. props. good show.
It's only gotten better since having the baby. Thank you
clicked for the video title, stayed for TWY shirt. badass climbing, dude.
I'm dragging you down with meeee.
The last two zoom ins had me laughing... what were you even holding onto?! haha Congrats on the Second Ascent!
The first hold was "Hopes" and the second hold was "Prayers" hahaha. Thanks dude glad you enjoyed!

They say if you climb on gear in NC you can climb anywhere. I hear the Gunks is similar in that sense. N Side is absolutely world class
Felt that way to me! Really quality climbing down there.
Ben who soloed Ten Days After on the column in the valley back in June/July 2001? We were the party of three on the Prow.
Not sure, he never mentioned soloing to me. He's been climbing forever though so I wouldn't put it past him!
What's up with the audio during the send, all buzzing on my end. Sick send!
Thanks for pointing this out. Issue is fixed now! Thanks dude
Rad!!!
can I know what's the point of the first nuts placement? It seems that even with it it would be a ground fall.
If it held it would just keep you off the spikey rocks. If it blew, it would absorb some energy of the fall and the rocks wouldn't hurt so bad haha
@@headpointhandbook Thanks. It looks very low from the video angle.
