At the end of their concerts they have "ARMY Time" and they dress down, usually by wearing their tour merch but really styled to their own personalities. j-hope always adds a little bag, Suga usually has some finger-gloves or a headband, V occasionally rocks a beret...it's always a set of four songs that are more fun and intimate and it's kind a little post-show. For one of the songs during ARMY time at this same concert, they had a giant bouncy house on the stage. Make it Right is also part of the ending set so they were dressed casually in that one too. It's definitely not typical of their stage performances. It's just a special thing they've always done. During that time, ARMY also does a little event for BTS where we have little signs with messages on them that we hold up to show BTS. It's just a cute, fun tradition.
They have an encore section in their concerts after their 'last' song. Is like this: they end, we wait +10min , they comeback with 'normal clothes' (which is their merch), and we enjoy for like 20+min.
Yes they do have stylists that coordinates their outfits. Usually for official appaerances and brodscasts (like Tiny desk and MTV unplugged) they are dressed to fit the theme/vibe of the song. Like in Tiny desk, since Dynamite is a disco-pop song with a retro concept, they were dressed accordingly. They do have fancy stage outfits in their concerts as well, which you can see if you watch concert versions of i.e. Dionysus or Mic drop. So what was one of the ending songs of their concert. For all the songs performed in the encore, they are dressed more casually wearing their tour merch.
He’s not the only one bouncing around with stable vocals! Not a single one of them was off tune at any point! To suggest otherwise, is disrespectful to the other vocalists!!
I’m not even kidding, some Bts songs (like Best of me, wings and so what) on the Speak yourself tour had people that hyped that the whole stadium shook! I remember screaming so much my head started pounding so I stopped for a sec to take my painkillers and I could feel the Wembley stands shaking underneath me because EVERYONE was jumping 😅 it was amazing!
They have stylists but when you see them casual like this it's during g the encode where they wear the official tour merch. 100% of the proceeds of the Love Yourself merch went to their Unicef campaign.
The outfits they are wearing here are casual, and I believe they were probably personally chosen for comfort and coolness. This performance is from one of their 2018-2019 World Tour concerts. Typically these concerts have more than 25 songs, with several video interludes that allow them to catch their breath, hydrate, cool off, dry off, and change outfits. The concerts are so so strenuous. There is backstage footage that shows some close to collapse between the segments. They use fans, cold packs, and sometimes even oxygen, to recover between segments, while the video interludes are playing. This song was included in the WT in Saõ Paolo concert that was the third item in today's BangBangCon21 BangtanTV YT 8-hour livestream. The song was the 26th out of 29 live songs. Their World Tour concerts typically have 40K to 80K people in the audience. They last two and a half to three hours. So comparing them with Tiny Desk is like matching a sesame seed up to a beach ball. What you're seeing in this video are seven guys and a support team who have been performing for more than 2 hours, live, in front of tens of thousands of people, also live. For them to be wearing pretty suits at this point in the concert is asking them to collapse on the stage. For them to be doing small-scale personal interactions is ignoring the tens of thousands of people who came to see them. Amazing how non-chaotic their concerts are. Yet full of happiness, energy, life. Judging by the quality of the video interludes for the WT in Saõ Paolo concert, you would be probably happy with a live concert. Some of the elegance and humor that was in the Tiny Desk concert, that you're missing here, was present in the video interludes. There is no typical BTS. They are famously multi-genre. Even in a single song.
Their concerts are really energetic. They literally run around like this for the whole 2 1/2 hours. I went to their Rose Bowl concert in 2019 and the synergy between the singers and also the audience was unbelievable. I am talking from a mid 50's perspective lol.
Hi Jacob 🤗, I really appreciate a professional opinion. Specially when the reactor is open minded and gives all artists a fair chance. To be honest, I don't always understand your comments because I'm not a producer nor a musician, but I can see you really enjoy what you're doing. Thank you very much for taking the time. I'm just worried about you not getting enough sleep 🤔. You give us one video after another. Again, thank you very much and please take care 💜💜
man, this song makes me so happy and hyped. When i feel down or overwhelmed i just put this on and scream "SO WHAT, JUST LET GO!" at the top of my lungs while jumping around. Works every time.
BTS is styled for their performances and go through a lot of outfit changes in concerts. This is the last part of the concert the encore- so they are Dressed normally in jeans and t shirts.
At the end of the concert BTS usually wear T-shirt and jeans =) After watching So What in Brazil today at bangbangcon I officially miss this song so much
When kpop groups release a new song, it usually comes with a concept. Dynamite was retro and so the clothes they wore were a retro 70s-80s disco flavour. This is what they wore for Tiny Desk. ... In concert, they have numerous costume changes. In the encore, they are typically very casual and usually wear clothes that are part of the tour merchandise. It's almost like team outfits, as there are comparisons to be made between kpop recruitment and training and, for example, the way the NCAA recruits and trains college athletes--including team clothing in public appearances. (I'm 58 and have followed kpop for over a decade and the NCAA for multiple decades...I also remember the 70s😊)
This song is pure fun! You can’t not feel the excitement. I guarantee that every single person who listens to this, is either moving a body part, or smiling..... that is, if you are not jumping and dancing!
First time i heard someone pointing out the crowd micro.. i never saw that ..thanks :) its always fun to find something new in videos i have watched so often
One of my favourite songs of theirs! I was fortunate enough to be there for it live at Wembley June 2019 - it was insane - the whole stadium jumping up and down.
During the video performance, I played like an army like crazy in the front. As a Korean, concerts with kpop singers are really fun. Thank you bts for allowing me to take my memories with me even after I die
They each have their own style, but, not I have never been to a Concert and watching them with reactors , they take a 20 minute break after their concert, and come out dressed casually to end the concert.
One of my favorite memories was seeing them live in Chicago, Oct 2018. This song was so fun. We were close enough to get wet with the water bottle splash! You will see them dress more casually for encore/ending sets.
This is such a fun song you can't help but get up and jump about to it. It's good to see them in what I presume is their own choice of clothes. They have stylists but I think this when they wear what they prefer and are comfortable in.
Thank you for the reaction..please more BTS reaction to live stage like this.. my next recommendation is "Anpanman" live version..the concert one they have this huge ballon slide on stage..I totally recommend that..
Fun fact: BTS loves spraying water onto the crowd during "ARMY Time". The last part of their concert usually makes ARMY cry as each member talks, thanks and bids goodbye.. Then it is followed by their last songs and it's party time!!
You should how loud army is live, it’s crazy. And really infectious positive energy, that BTS also carries through their whole concert. An amazing experience. If you haven’t, check out “outro tear” live at wembley by the rapline. It’s so amazing
After they are done with their full concert with sets, outfit changes, etc. they get into casual clothes and do another hour of just fun. Their concerts are about 3 hours long. Another if their songs with that similar drive is Best of Me. I love the live concert versions of their music!
Love your reactions and the bits of info you add to help provide your perspective and knowledge on music production. They have more relaxed parts of the concert when they just wander around and interact with the crowd as well as each other, just to break things up. During their SpeakYourself tour they had a bouncy house during Anpanman 🤣 it was great hilarity and interaction😅💜 Thanks for checking out more of their content.
Lol, this is from their encore. They dress down in tour merch and just run all over the stage to wave to ARMY. It's a lot more casual and relaxed than the actual concert portion and they just fool around enjoying spending time with ARMY. When they first say it's time for the last song, there's actually almost an hour left to the concert. Their encore set is usually 3-4 songs, they take turns making their last comments to the audience, take a picture with ARMY, and then they spend almost 10min going all over the stage saying goodbye
This is some of my favorite from their live performance. I hope this link is still available for viewing. And behind the making songwriter of Ddaeng : ruclips.net/video/SEiT2mO97fA/видео.html Not Today, Tear (Live) ruclips.net/video/GlsZUy-MbD8/видео.html Dope, Silver Spoon, Fire, Run (Live) ruclips.net/video/lYqLpEWqV0M/видео.html
They have about 6-8 costume changes per concert. What they're wearing right now is their concert tour merch.. It's their last costume coz this song is performed during the Encore (last 4 songs) and thus the most casual costume for the night.
every song of theirs have different set attire and outfits, they all have different styles which stylists keep in mind but keeping in mind that they compliment each other and fits together despite being different 💗
the clothing changed because in kpop concepts are a time depending on what era or what the story or meaning they want to focus on for an Mv can depend on what concept cause for kpop is not only the music and the dancing its also what they wear and how they act
If you are curious about who choses their outfits, ofc they have stylists to do so however, during major shows they attend to, bts usually tends to have a say on what outfit concept they want to pull off. They don't specifically choose certain brands, as they chose on whatever they want to wear. It has also been revealed that BTS (personally) usually pay 50% of the outfits they wore on major shows especially if it's from luxurious branding.
They basically have an Army of people traveling with them, stylist they basically dress them, hair stylists, makeup artists, a person who does massages , also a doctor is present. They also interact a lot on stage.
They usually get dressed according to the vibe/theme of the song or the concept they’re in. Like TV performances/award shows and late nights shows and others they will have coordinated outfits (eg Dynamite they were wearing like 70-80s fashion with wide legend trousers, Boy with Luv era was bright, pink and colourful, Fake Love was dark outfits, silk shirts and harnesses etc). On their concerts they do sometimes wear stage outfits too or just merch items
If you're curious about their outfits, usually during concerts, BTS stylists usually dress them in some comfortable clothes especially during encore. (p.s. this Make It right stage is on the encore or last part of the show). On BTS concerts comfortable and casual clothes like these are worn by artists so that they can jump around the stadium, goof around as they approach the end part of the show
BTS concert tickets are the hottest like no other like in 5 to 10 minutes will be gone. To really appreciate BTS you should watch the live were they give everything. Just imagine BTS performing for 2 hours or more all by themselves from start to finished. That's why even American or western artist are in awe and could not believed it seeing the audience really having a good time. It's like one concert show you have to see before you die. Cheers.
This performance was part of the encore (I think the outfits were therefore supposed to look more relaxed. However, their clothing changes a lot throughout the concert - and everytime time they have a comeback + new concept). That might explain why they were running even more around - they like to say hi and thank you to all armys who came. They really do all genres - just think about how many different artist you've mentioned during bts reactions. And I love that they are talented enough to pull it off and not be limited by anything.
their outfit for this video is a part of their speak yourself tour merchandise. they wear this when it's time for the "encore" stage, the last segment of the concert where they freestyle a lot and they are more comfortable
Most of their on stage clothing is arranged by their stylists, and sometimes they'll all use clothes from one brand. They're given more freedom on their encore stages (this one is one!) where they'll use tour merch but can accessorize their hats and stuff more freely. However, recently their management gives them a lot of freedom on hairstyles and accessories, but usually not their on stage clothing.
i think this is different from the Tiny Desk just because they do not only interact with each other but they also have to interact to or more so entertain their audience. It was actually a lot of adjustment to them that they were not able to see their fans because they are so used to having an audience while performing.
ha ha.. I love this song and I go crazy with my tiny granddaughters when we play this!! We dance like crazy!! The baby says,"Alexa, play BTS So What.' ..my son gives me the look..Mom,this is your fault...Then we dance like no one is watching!!!
By the time we get to this point in the concert, the gloves are off and it’s just one big celebration. They’re having fun with themselves, with each other, and then with ARMY depending on the moment and who they’re around. Basically throw your hat up in the air and let it all fly, it’s a big ole party love-fest of silliness and joy.
BTS doesn't wear the same stage outfit twice, outside of touring. Even on tour, they're regularly changing their style every couple of shows. Each individual has a personal style, but when performing, they have stylists.
I think it has to do with when it's more televized like tiny desk or dear class of 2020 or MTV unplugged they put more of an effort in to styling what best fits the song and performance. In concerts they have different outfits but usually with songs like So what, anpanman and go go it's more of a let loose and let's just have fun and then they wear more casual outfits. They do a lot of outfit changes in concert so they won't wear this the whole night
Like your reactions. One of my favorite BTS songs is LET GO. It's from their Japanese album Face Yourself. Their vocals and dance are sooo good. When they sing in Japanese they sound different but in a very good way - Not sure how to describe it. ill post the link. BTS (방탄소년단) 'Let Go'【Live Video】Stage Mix (ENG/Lyrics)
They wear something different for every other song in the concerts. It's compatible with the stages theme. Sometimes it's highly fashionable and fancy and sometimes it's casual for a song like this without choreo. I would say they have stylists for sumn like this bcs its a high production
They have all have stylists but the members approve everything they wear. They don't take brand deals, and only promote what they actually like. They all wear whatever the concept that they're doing calls for. NPR was kinda supposed to be retro themed cuz they were performing on a classic medium in a record store, and they were promoting their song Dynamite which is retro themed. They change outfits multiple times during concerts. So What is on their encore section of the concert, which is the ending segment. It's more laid back and doesn't have a lot of choreo, if any. So they wear much more casual attire, in this case that tour's concert apparel merchandise. They interact with each other plenty during concerts lmao. The concerts are 3 hours long. You can bet that you're gonna feel like you're third wheeling at some point in the concert. Sometimes, it feels like you're third wheeling the entire group. Literally they're saps for each other 💀💀💀
The message “So What” is about forgetting about your problems and just getting lost in the music and having fun, aka saying “so what” to society and criticisms. This is probably why the song is a rave style to mimick a song that you would dance your heart out to. If you want to know a bit more, look up the lyric translation and I think that might help
This is really a banger at the end of the show. We're already tired from the 2h30+ of show but we regain our energy and a bit of our voice here. Then we loose it again. 😹 But we have so much fun, it's one of my fav song during concert. 😁
This performance is towards the end of their concert, most of them are wearing their tour merch, to adevertise and to get more comfortable I guess. They have plenty of differwnt outfits during one night
Can i request you to react to their old live concert/song? I recommend to watch look here and ma city live. Those are my favourites. Nice reaction btw 😊
Just finally subbed him. I was waiting for him to bash like other "producer types" but he hasn't. He just points out the music so anyone can understand. 👍😁💜
This is closer to the end of the concert where they take off the costumes and stuff and just wear casual clothes and have fun with ARMY
Cool
Encore stage, they wear the concert merch that's sold. It's why bags, towels, hats etc
Jungkook's stability and highnotes in the end never fail to amaze me
Legit
He’s not the only one bouncing around with stable vocals! Not a single one of them was off tune at any point!
Jungkook's highnotes in So What are my new favorite.
Jungkooks vocals 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💘
🔥
the control jungkook has on his vocal is crazy
And his highnote 🔥🔥🔥
for sure
BTS‘ happiest moment is when they’re performing especially during world concert tours!
🔥🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥
Another thing that makes BTS really fun to watch is because you can see that they genuinely enjoy performing on stage. They're so real.
🔥🔥🔥
Jungkook is the most stable one when it comes to live .his live singing always sounds better than recordings.

It was actually a lot of adjustment to them that they were not able to see their fans because they are so used to having an audience while performing.
the fact that i was at this exact concert brings back flashbacks of that night. it was so much fun!
BTS edm is awesome! Casual listeners either love it or hate it.
🔥
Esse show foi na turnê LYS-SYS no Brasil em 2019 ...foi épico 💜
experienced so what live four times and each time the energy is unmatched
I bet!
Wow!!
BTS💜Jungkook-love you baby 💜😫💜
Literally they're saps for each other 💀💀💀
Nice!!!!
The message “So What” is about forgetting about your problems and just getting lost in the music and having fun, aka saying “so what” to society and criticisms. This is probably why the song is a rave style to mimick a song that you would dance your heart out to. If you want to know a bit more, look up the lyric translation and I think that might help
I always learn so much from watching your videos. Thank you
This is really a banger at the end of the show. We're already tired from the 2h30+ of show but we regain our energy and a bit of our voice here. Then we loose it again. 😹 But we have so much fun, it's one of my fav song during concert. 😁
This song was part of their encore stage which is when they always dress more casually with their merch!
Nice
Yes, you cannot help but jump and scream to this song, it was a little dangerous tho at a stadium seat , haha. Best part of the concert for jamming.
so good
This is at the end of the show and they're in tour merch
This performance is towards the end of their concert, most of them are wearing their tour merch, to adevertise and to get more comfortable I guess. They have plenty of differwnt outfits during one night
Yeess, please please also react their live performances DOPE + SILVER SPOONS (BAEPSAE) + FIRE + RUN, thank you.

Just finally subbed him. I was waiting for him to bash like other "producer types" but he hasn't. He just points out the music so anyone can understand. 👍😁💜
