Back in the day, we would have a healer put on righteous fury before the adds came out so they ran for the healer. Placed traps and push backs to keep adds away from pally healer.

A tip for healers: Hpalas should prioritize beacon on first 2 RANGED marks since they are the most dangerous, if you have enough mele marks is best for rshaman to start spamming chain heal on mele camp that plus the healing from holy light glyph should be enough to keep those marks alive.

I couldn't play the PTR but I'm fairly certain that dmg from Mark of the Fallen Champion did generate Blood Power in Vanilla WotLK. To the effect that the frequency between the marks would increase exponentially.

It's a trade-off between appeasing the melee so they don't get parried when DBS turns around to cast abilities on the raid, or easier add killing. One strat is friendlier to melee, the other friendlier to ranged.

You tell the ranged to stack in groups of two instead of solo spread. In general for pugs it's going to be easier to just tell ranged to stack as two. Else you risk the chance of hitting three or more targets with Blood Nova instead of just two.
Anyone know the exact rules on blood nova? It looks like he only targets ranged, is there a minimum number of ranged targets you need in order to grantee no melee get targeted? On the PTR we ran a strategy where the marked targets move in for chain heals.
Hello dear Jordee, I find it very disheartening that the Deathbringer Saurfang video came before the amazing epic vehicle 3d chess strategy encounter. I am not able to defeat such incredible strength encounter thus this video adds no real information to me and my elitist guild before we can progress the flying boat experience in the next 5 weeks.
i love how your first solution to deal with the beasts is have a lock gimp their damage instead of maybe, I dunno, a prot warrior shockwave? Timers were always spot for this fight back in the day (to be fair I used bigwigs which has greatly more reliable and accurate timers than DBM) and I don't see it being any different, there is a difference between recommending the class that makes it easier and being against a particular class/spec. Give all the options and let raid teams do what's best for them instead of just copying how 1 team did it. In the 18 years history of youtube video guides all the best guides give examples of all classes that can do particular jobs, be the best Joardee because people can't think for themselves anymore so you need to do it for them.

you can use tailoring nets to stop the adds , but no melee in range or they will die
There is no magic damage in this fight. So mages. AMPLIFY MAGIC on entire raid before start! This will help your healers keeping you up.

It did originally but it was changed in a later patch, which is the reference patch we're playing on.

also iirc if the tank starts with his back right on the wall the beasts spawn more stacked, allowing for more cleave.

On our heroic kill melee did not attack beasts at all. Better to leave it for ranged and not risk a melee getting aggro and dying.
Does DI remove the mark? Or does the person have to sit in the DI for the rest of the fight?

Yes you just need to make sure you have at least 8 ranged or other healers standing away.

why do you want a frost dk when you are using a blood dk tank? doesnt the tank give the same buff as the frost dk
Imp Icy Talons or 3% Dodge is your option as a Blood DK.
For progression you definitely want your blood DK to be specced into maximum survival, not allocating precious points to a raidbuff

I think He was moving Marked people into a line on raid frames so they are easier to heal.

It was for the holy priest to spamm his prayer of healing to his group of marks, not for a shadow priest
8 ranged dps spots isn't a very realistic amount for the average raid... If you have a wonky comp with like 13 ranged, where do you put them all?

no they have 95% aoe reduction dmg just like faction champs.
@@JeetGameplays cleave isn't considered AOE, its a multi-target attack. I'm not 100% positive it won't be impacted, but its not AOE
