Don’t forget to kick those frost bolts in phase 2! Any other tips I didn’t mention that your fellow raiders should know?
how did yall deal with tanks getting mind controlled? in our attempts our secondary tank would often get MCed and that would reset his threat, which made the phase a lot harder
also worth mentioning that casters can start the fight along the back wall if they want to
Do the ghosts blow up if they hit anyone or only if they hit their pursue target?

Warrior tanks can intervene on cd to help wipe threat on any aggro dps the last phase, especially ferals

FR, I always equip my PvP trinket before Vezax trash because I KNOW those MFers will race to kill me.

We hand out the ToGC Trophies as rewards to whoever gets the killing blow on the MC'ed players. Make the best out of that miserable room.

Similar how we handle trash in vesax room. . So you mean immediately swap and kill them lol
You forgot to mention that in phase 2 you gave all the casters and healers pre assigned positions in a circle around the boss like on thorim to make it easier to manage the ghosts

So true. My guild has a policy to watch all boss guides before going in to the next tier, they even post all of Joardees guides on DC. Imagine my surprise when on first PTR raid 95 percent of people hadn't watched a thing.

The ghost explosion deals shadowfrost dmg so you would have to pop a shadow and frost AM

How long do the ghosts stay up? Do they chase you down forever until they hit something? Are they flexinated onto you? Will they blow up before it gets to you if another player runs in its path?
I saw in a 10m video that a prot paladin could bubble cancelaura the threat reduction debuff and keep pumping threat, do you know if that works on 25m too?
When you said toavoid ghosts, do they eventually expire and disappear if you run away from them for long enough? Or do they chase you forever? Also what if you get MCd while a ghost is chasing you?
What raid frame/ healing adding you using if I may ask?
Which addon/Weakaura is it fo the Bloodlust/Heroism count above the character? looks great
@Joardee, so I was tanking the right side of the room and I kept getting MC at random times. Does that mean I don't have enough threat on adds?
How do i know when to run away from ghosts? do they target people randomly? do they swap target? do they only explode on contact with the person they are chasing, or anyone?
Cc mc deal with them like the adds before Vezax….. me in a guild that enjoys killing the mc target lol

What are the differences between NM and HC on this fight? I doubt we'll get her down on HC for the first few resets
Suggestion for ghosts. Dw shoots out ghosts as projectiles so if you are watching her you can already see where the ghosts will land even before they appear
Addons should be able to announce if they're on you as well. There will for sure be a weakaura yelling at you if the ghost is on you.
Additionally when you see the spirits around you; if you wiggle your character sideways relative to the ghosts's position and the ghost is on you, you can see the ghost's jerkily trying to chase you.
@@QPoily yeah, that works too, my suggestion is more preventive in case ghost spawns close behind you. You can already see that projectile went to your direction and you need to watch out

So does her threat reset in phase 2? i thought she kept her threat from phase 1 and u needed a tank on her during all of phase 1?

this boss is a pain in the ass with those ghosts on phase 2, if people eventually make a WA for the ghost this gonna be ezpz, but seems like its not possible yet, def need to get there prepared
Agreed! The ghosts are going to be the big issue groups face - just gotta emphasize to your guys that their DPS doesnt matter - JUST DODGE GHOSTS AND YOU WILL WIN

phase 1 seemed to go really fast on PTR but phase 2 was difficult and also hard to chase threat as a pally tank in full prog mit :/
"stuck for ages", wdym? 😂 there's a GDKP on Gehennas that has cleared 11/12 HC already on first round of ptr testing, but maybe less smart players will yeah, but real gamers? Nah.

Do the ghosts despawn after running for a time? Or will the room just end up being full of ghosts if P2 goes long enough?
They despawn but they also respawn very quickly afterwards. Ghosts will be a primary mechanic to watch out for throughout P2 because of this.
Iirc they respawn every 10 seconds pretty much. They spawn, chase someone for like 5 seconds, despawn, and few seconds afterwards they respawn and repeat.
To clarify, do the Phase 2 ghosts detonate upon hitting ANY player, or only their intended target?
Only their target, which can be difficult to tell so just run away from them!

I keep wondering why your prot pala has a fast weapon. Do you really need to squeeze out every little mitigation?
No they're wrong for using it.

Yes they despawn quickly, so just run for a bit and you should be good - 5 seconds
Any WA that can highlight the ghosts? The purple color on the grey background is hard to see.
I don't think it can because they're not targetable and don't have plates.
Can she be reset, M'uru style?
Is it doable with 2 tanks? like 1 pala bubbleing at 5 stacks taking 10. And If a fury warrior gets 2 stacks with shield wall on, maybe MT resets the touch and can go 15 stacks?
She is not tauntable so your only option is to have 2 tanks build threat so that when the first gets 100% aggro reduce, the DPS won't overtake a tank
I know she is not tauntable but the tank will have 0% threat so the warrior or the bear can overagro afterwards and reset the MTs stacks@@toaster13666

I got hit by a ghost. 😢 But to be fair what I learned from it is that there is a macro to make the camera zoom out further.

U promised if we avoid purple ghost adds we will kill boss well.... Our tank died on adds and was really struggle even to get aggro on it with 2x MD XD
Could you just have a feral druid go bear for the 3rd tank but stay in cat gear?
It's doable, but you need to trust your kicker + great healers. 1 frostbolt + aa and you are likely dead without major cd in togc full cat gear (as HC ofc).
Honestly just a Bear tank would work out - they do okay DPS in cat form and having the extra health and armour would smooth out the fight during progression.
I’d say that’s fine - like arialpew mentioned just make sure you kick those frost bolts. But this fight really isn’t a DPS race so don’t worry about losing that damage
But parse matters tho when everyone worships logs we have to do all we can to parse

Real challenge on 25hc. Surprisingly easy on 10hc. Move from ghosts and win
So if our guild has been murdering MC''s in general's room on trash pulls we haven't been doing ourselves any favors :)
I will not get hit by a ghost.
The aoe strat seems harder for little benefit. The old dad strat was to split the raid, and Fight the adds at the bottom. This is probably the easier strat for progression imo.
I actually think it's going to be easier. Less distance to travel for melee, don't have to worry about losing aggro, adds get evenly cleaved down so you don't have the awkward scenario of for example 2 mages having their magic immunity bubble up because they took too long to kill. It just simplifies everything imo.
"Try not to cleave the MC-ed players, similar to the trash in general Vezax's room"... yikes. He's aware most guilds just destroy whoever gets MCed there while cackling on discord, right?
It's different, this is boss fight, that's trash mobs, if they kill MC'd targets during a boss fight (unless it's yogg MC due to low sanity) they are legit trash at the game and should not be raiding heroic whatsoever.
Those ghosts very annoying, they're not very good visiable and you can't see their nameplates, so very easy missiable in heat of fight =(
