Vietnam my worst thing is the visa run apart from this I can live there 100% no problem. Thailand is closer to me because of it's modernity, convenience, beautiful infrastructure that I can rely on. I Think next year if my health permits me I will live between four south East Asian countries, but Vietnam will be my base as it is more affordable to make a long term lease and be as my base camp, that will dor sure be Da Nang.
The great thing is you can have all having a Thai Viet split with occasional PH trips seems like a perfect life.
Check out this video from my second favorite place jomtien Thailand

You and I are on the same wavelength! Making Da Nang my base then touring other neighboring countries, as I am in full retirement. Life is short, live your life to the fullest because tomorrow is never guaranteed!
Samy, where's your accent from, mate?
Germany bro. A little washed from traveling for 6 years tho
@socialsamy Good accent, mate!

scalp massage / treatment does not exit in Japan. Never seen and been in Japan many years
I think they call it head spa and it’s insanely viral lol look it up
The biggest pro for me is not meeting people 👌💪
@@user-ep3ck5re4o 😂 beach is big enough to do this 👍
Don't let Mr. Miami fool you, he took home two Thai female sumo wrestlers. He may be fit, but he doesn't discriminate when it comes to women.
😂😂😂😂
Một clip rất bổ ích cho Đà Nẵng. Tôi không phải dân Đà Nẵng nhưng là một người Việt Nam tôi cảm ơn kênh của bạn nhiều.
Glad I can help 🙏
Welcome to Vietnam 🫰✌️🇻🇳😃
Thank you ❤️
Bạn nên làm phụ đề tiếng Việt
I will ask my fiancé hehe
@@socialsamy Deutsche Untertitel wären auch super, für einen alten nicht so gut Englisch sprechenden Mann :-))
Why are tourists liking there
stayed for a few years
firstly the weather
the weather is very warm and the sun is full all year round excellent weather ( the weather is the most important)
the weather is the main
the warm beach and the environment
not crowded people
Because of the beach
that why tourists liked
Beautiful beach and quiet too
Cons: Having to hear the Banh Bao and other megaphone sales people all day and all night no matter how high up you are 😵💫
😂😂😂 I’m wondering if nha Trang has the same
@@socialsamy Do you know if it's a thing in the bigger cities like HCM and Hanoi?
@@Liveleyy I haven’t heard banh bao in Ha Noi tho and Saigon is always so loud but not that i realized it 😂
I love the local vendors. Way better than the Muay Thai boxing vehicles in Thailand. And there are always quieter areas to live in.
@@Kiwi-Macca 😂 yeah I remember those Krabi and Phuket
The big guy, the bald one with the beard said at the 26 minute mark that you can’t swim in the ocean there. What does he mean by that? Why can’t you swim?
He was here in start of February the waves were not the best to swim not sure if it was even possible
4:05 you should downside your cost for food those biceps look fatty bro :D :D

Oh I don’t think he colors his hair 🤣
Hi Samy.....wondering if the guys you interviewed have a social life at all in Dan Nang or are they just chilling and enjoying the beach and good food....Does Vietnam have a bar scene ? kind of like Pattaya ? If I go there Im afaid I'm gonna be lonely ...maybe best to bring a girlfriend
I just came back filming the “nightlife in da Nang” there is a bar scene also sports bar scene on the day time. It’s 100% not like Pattaya but I think it’s pretty easy to make friends here any age.
There is no good club scene tho
They know parks are not helpful bc no one lay down on the grass during the day, it's burning hot 😅😅😅. Just kidding. But reasonable 😅😂😂😂
Yeah if I think about the ants 🫠
Johnny FD? . You can't swim in Danang? No clubs no vibe? Come onnnnn. I swim every morning in beautiful crystal clear water! He is right about the cursed Bang baw carts and corn sellers on bikes. Its is soooooooo annoying and lately there are more of them then EVER!! They are flooding the streets with their supper annoying LOUD loudspeakers at 2 am ! He is right there
He was here end January start of February so he didn’t really see the summer season but the daily rain tho :)
16:25 Thank god you cut him lol. The guy ranting about Da Nang not being like his hometown
He lives here since 5 years or so and he loves it.
He’s very much involved with lots of very good projects that help the city.
But if you ask a German about cons they will dig deep and give you an answer :)
A pro is to have western food???😮 Vietnamese food is so good and mostly healthy.
Different strokes for different folks???
😂 I think he was a bit overwhelmed to answer.
But in general I know many people who love western food here too especially if you’re here longer.
Con: You go outside and you see dirt. How shocking 🙄
?
They guy in the blue shirt is soooo obliviously german 😂😂😂 everthing what he says sound so negative
@@AndyMiller-v3f 😂😂😂 those stereotypes😭
I just wanna remind everyone this place seems like paradise, but you’re living in a communist socialist country using capitalist money from another country so of course you’re gonna live like a king and you think this is the greatest thing in the world with the locals can’t live like you locals can’t eat out all the time so just reminding you guys you think heaven when you say socialist country but it’s only because you have money from a capitalist country to use makes you look like a kingit’s a cheap place to live
When have you been to Vietnam the last time?
Climate change ... LOL
Village ? Wtf. It's the city.
They talking about the foreigner area an Thuong that’s like a village in the city of Da Nang. Which is 100% true
cons : no beautiful bikini girls on the beach like in latin america or Europe
😂😂😂
Stay in LA or Europe then lol
Dirty?? Did you grow up in heaven?
Do you think the streets are clean in Da Nang?
@@socialsamy it's cleaner then most of the countries these people are from. I can tell you that.
