This was great! I know for me personally, once I removed patterns and prints from my closet, invested in a couple of nice handbags and basic shoes (white sneakers, black flats, booties and tall boots) I have endless outfits!! Took a screenshot of all 18 and can recreate them all!! I’m 61 and feel each one is both stylish and appropriate for me! Thank you!
I’m 60 and I’m not giving up my patterns and prints, but I do wear a lot more solids recently. I like stripes, dots, checks, plaid and natural-looking animal prints, but I limit the florals to smaller-scale ones in one color+white.

Love the transitions! Have to say, what elevated the outfits most was the fact that the leggings have that sheen to them, making them more easily converted from casual to dressy, love this idea, will def scope out when they're on sale :D

Shea I love your style and videos and I get so much inspiration from them. This coming from a plus size woman over 50. I take colour and pattern ideas and incorporate for my size and shape. One issue I have is I live in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 please give guidance on how to style outfits wearing socks! This is a must have where I live during winter. If anyone has any suggestions I’m interested. Remember it’s freezing here till end of March. Sometimes we have an odd day above freezing towards end of March.

Agree, the editing is excellent (was excellent when you were doing it as well), and your videos are fun. There are probably a few women who follow you who don't begin to have as many things hanging in their closets as you do, so videos showing how to get multiple uses from the pieces available are fun and useful. You can never go wrong with white, off white, black, and shades of beige/brown/tan combos but, honestly, a pop of color (purse, shoes, top, belt, something) would be great with any of the things you threw together and actually welcome when we're looking at this many changes. Just a though.
Leggings are "iffy" for most women.
I only wear mine at home or for exercising, I agree. They shouldn’t be worn as regular trousers.
But those arent regular cloth leggings like you wear at home or for exercising they’re like the more fancier kind since they’re faux leather. I wouldnt wear “leather” to workout.

I cleaned out my wardrobe on the weekend and donated my old leggings. Perfect timing and great inspiration for new legging outfit ideas...now to buy some beautiful, highwaisted, good quality leggings.
I agree with Adam Glassman from Oprah Magazine “think of leggings as tights not pants” and “leggings can look tacky with the wrong footwear”.
I agree 100% - Shea is thin with a small bum and looks good but many women look tacky when they wear leggings with shorter tops - I see no reason the wear leggings when a pair of skinny black jeans is available - Leggings are good for exercise, not street were unless worn with long tops or sweaters. - I would not want to see a young chubby girl use this as a "how to wear legging" guide.

Hi Shea, AWESOME video!!! I have a question about your white tee. The Amazon ones are crew neck and more fitted, because I have a couple of them. The tshirt you are wearing is a v-neck and more flowy, therefore easy to knot. Can you please tell us the brand you are wearing?

As a mom of three, leggings have been sort of part of my "uniform" for so long. Then, since I didn't want to look not put together, started wearing different colored denims. BUT! I prefer leggings so much more than other bottom choices. Also have tried the jeggings, but didn't like the "cheap" look. Maybe was the one I had in hand, but didn't try to look for a different variant.

I love these outfits, so cute. I bought these leggings from Nordstrom when they had the sale earlier this year, but they don’t fit well unless your on the more slim side. I weigh 160 lbs for reference and bought both a medium and a large to see which one was better and neither fit well. It was bulgy in the wrong places, not flattering, super tight around the butt area, around the stomach area the fabric kept rolling down, and made me feel not the best to be honest. Just wanted to let anyone with a curvier body type know
Try the faux leather leggings from Aerie, I know what you mean because I'm curvy and I always struggle with leggings but I totally fell in love with them, also, they’re much more affordable.

You should get them and just return them if you don’t like them. 😊😊😊

Great ideas. Thanks. I love how you point out about how to buy petite. Even when I was wearing a size 18 I would always go to the petite section to purchase my clothes. Because I am so short. People think petite is just for tiny people. When it's not it's really for short people.
