Thank you, Milan! The Moon is truly stunning-it’s one of those fragrances that stays with you. I’m so glad you’ve found a signature scent in it. Wishing you a fantastic 2025 filled with more beautiful discoveries!
Happy newyear buddy! Amazing list again🙏 My most complimented from 2024 are: Cartier Pasha edt Guerlain l'instant edp YSL Rive Gauche MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver Creed GIT Loewe 001 man Profumum Roma Audace
Happy New Year, Vincent! Thank you so much for your kind words, as always. That’s an amazing lineup! I especially love Guerlain L’Instant and Profumum Roma Audace 😊 I need to revisit MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver. Wishing you a wonderful and fragrant 2025!
Moon has been on my wish list for so long. I purchased Moon last night passing through Istanbul Airport😊 guy was kind enough to give me a bunch of samples of the desert line.
@@mattl7424 instant love haha. I'm very okay with animalic oud, especially a well blended one. It's wearable for sure, but i just love to sniff it from the cap hehe
Idk if that can be considered a compliment but I got one comment saying I smell “interesting” while wearing Bortnikoff “Tabac Doré” 😅 . 2024 was definitely the year of The Moon and Tabac Doré (bought both of them and I can’t get enough of them) and in 2025 I’m hoping to explore more oud fragrances and some artisanal houses like Areej le Doré, Prin/Prissana and more Bortnikoff. Happy New Year and keep up the good content!
I have both and yea they have some similarities but it’s not redundant to own both. I use Fidelis as my “dumb reach” oud fragrance or for a date and The Moon is my special occasion, going out, formal oud (i would also wear The Moon on a date but maybe not the 1st date haha)
Thanks for the video. I wear/buy only niche and high-end designers perfumes. This market is so saturated, that niche has become the new norm (kind of like the new designer level). My sensitive nose relegates 95%+ of niche perfumes as boring, not exciting or just average/good. I'm very picky. Very! For example, I find the entire RM line quite boring. None of FM perfumes knocked me of my feet. Not bottle worthy. So, for me there are regular niche perfumes, and there are masterpieces. There are masterpieces, and there are MASTERPIECES. In your list there is only one perfume that is worthy of a full bottle for me, a masterpiece, and that's Hermes Ambre Narguile. It strikes a perfect balance, and its dry down is nothing short of a wonder on my skin. JCH... what a master perfumer. But even for him, AN is extraordinary imho. A disclaimer : I haven't smelled Alexandria iii yet. I own Richwood, and if it bares any resemblance, it sounds promising. BTW, if you're from beautiful sunny Portugal, why move to a cold country ? (I have a Portuguese passport, but I don't speak the language).
I just can’t seem to get past that burned tire scent you get at the beginning with Rosendo Mateu #5. That’s why I am a hard core Babycat/Vanagloria/Eau De Audacity/Vanilla Barka (Dominique Ropion) fan. I want to like it but I can’t get past that scent. By error, I ended up ordering 2 bottles and wish I could get to like it a little more. Was it an instant love for you or did it grow on you slowly?
At last, somebody that acknowleges the existance of this master piece that is 5 by Rosenso Mateu. I really hate how people talk so much about Babycat and don't even know this exist. Babycat it is so clearly a clone/highly inspired by 5, it is not even funny...
I have RM 5 and Babycat and can't agree with you that these fragrances are similar. Yes, it's the same type of scent, but not dupes and sorry, but I find your comparison totally missleading... In my opinion even Vanagloria is miles behind from Babycat
I love the DNA of 25 but the performance is criminal. It literally feels diluted. Like when a teenager drinks from their dads bottle of scotch and tries to cover it up by filling it up to the same level they found it at with water. It's like an eau du cologne. I don't know how they justify it
Amazing list! I started wearing The Moon this December and I will never leave this fragrance. It is so so beautiful!
What can you compare it to? A clone?

I love Rosendo Mateu No 5
Rosendo Mateu No. 5 is so good! A trend setter! Thanks for sharing your love for it!
When you rediscovered The Moon🤣🤣🤣. Thought the Moon is always up there ☝️! Great job though. 😊

I'm so happy to have pulled the trigger to get the Moon back in November! Was quite a good deal as well. So so obssed!
Was it a grower?
@@mattl7424 instant love haha. I'm very okay with animalic oud, especially a well blended one. It's wearable for sure, but i just love to sniff it from the cap hehe
I paid full price for my 100 ml of The Moon and I'm still very happy w/ that purchase! Cheers.
Alexandria 3 is an outstanding composition. The rose is pumped up but still a Woody, refined fragrance.

I just got Vanille Havane a couple weeks ago, amazing. So nice. Coca, boozy, tobacco…..really nice. So happy I got it.
Rasquinet did Fidelis for Histoires- almost identical but less expensive-very good and I have both the Moon and Fidelis.
I have both and yea they have some similarities but it’s not redundant to own both. I use Fidelis as my “dumb reach” oud fragrance or for a date and The Moon is my special occasion, going out, formal oud (i would also wear The Moon on a date but maybe not the 1st date haha)
Rosendo mateu no 5 elixir is amazing. You might need to give it a few more tries. It works so well during this winter weather.
Acqua di sale didn't work for me but Vanille Havane & Black gemstone are amazing ❤
Man you like saying compliments 😅 nice list

Definitely agree with Tihota along with Fire At Will. Superb Vanilla!

Nice presentation.but it should be not this much long
Jub 25 is a lot better. If only it had the original longevity. Jub 40 is ok but the original is God tear.

No disrespect to was you, You video are too long for real. You need to work on that.
