Fuji 70-300 vs Lumix 70-200 or how to get to 400mm on the cheap!!

This is an unusual comparison of options and the costs to get to 400mm (FF equiv) between the Fuji XF and Lumix S systems.

Impressive that the S Pro could match the Fuji with just the central quarter of the lens. I'm inclined to only use x1.4, although the recent Sigma macro is also compatible with converters so (as a macro and prime) it may be an exception.
Although the S Pro is relatively light, the Fuji is substantially lighter - and it really changes the potential use case to be far more casual. I don't know how well it would go with converters, but the fact that it's an option is compelling, too. Having both is not out of the question, really.

Certainly another perspective, but in nature photography easier said than done but not impossible
