    Nice vid great job.
I noticed you only took the ceiling control unit from trucks? Do they not sell for other cars/vans as well?

Thanks, and it definitely depends on the year and model of the vehicle the ceiling light unit can be worth grabbing from any car if it’s new enough or old enough / in Demand, the 2000s 2010s American cars have pretty low value interior parts so I pass on a lot of fords dodge and GM but do well with Toyota Volvo Honda Nissan etc.. new video coming soon with some different vehicles

Thanks and for sure, unfortunately I only have 1 local yard where I can do this but eventually I’d like to purchase some complete older vehicles and part them out

Whats the best wat to search sold comps on parts when vehicle compatibility is on multiple years? Will 2012 pull up parts from 2010-2020? Thanks man

So I tend to search the exact year of the vehicle I’m looking at “2011 Toyota Tacoma dome light” for example , once I see the going rate I’ll see what the compatibility is for the part in that case I think it’s 2005-2015 I’ll then search “2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma dome light” to see if there’s cheaper listings

How do you know what parts to go after ? Which one are worth the work.

I use eBay and search sold parts for each vehicle , most modern American vehicles don’t have a lot of valuable parts but older and newer Toyotas and Hondas have rare parts

Yeah, all about supply and demand a lot of the older vehicles don’t have parts being made anymore , and I am also talking in Canadian prices so bit higher then in the US
