Thanks for the video, I had THIS LAP TOP WORKING SINCE 2012 until 2019, I bought another lap and stop to use it now I intend to clean it up very well and work with it because is very good almost never get too warm, but it is hard to dissasemble, thanks , regards from Mexico.

I found one of these in a bin, I wiped it and it works, but battery won't charge. It stays on if connected with the power cable. Should a new battery fix this issue. ?? I can get one for £12.99

A new battery should, indeed, fix the issue. Most of the OEM batteries are shot now.

To replace the CMOS baterry, you don't have to dissamble the screen but it's a pain in the arse to replace the CMOS. Just a comment to help anyone wonder how to change that.
