I undone 3 screws from the front under and I lift the plastic removed the 3 Jack plastic front I was able to remove the battery and replace it without removing parts. I removed only the sd card from the front and 3 screws
Thank you for this video. You saved me a lot of time, helped me to organize my work, prepared me for a couple of unexpected design "solutions", probably prevented me from braking a part or two. Appreciate your time and effort.
@@LaptopDisassembly but where are the pins? How i can make short in this laptop, i try many ways , and i can not reset the BIOS.......how i can do it please
@@eusebiolarosa2205 the CMOS battery have 2 pins on the connector. You remove the battery and then short the pins with tweezers. If that don't help, the password can be removed only by changing the bios with programmer.
@@LaptopDisassembly ok thanks , the battery IS installed in the mother board Whith a Sort of White case base and y short pin the two extreme of the metal who touch the battery +and - and doesnt work........i work whit computers fixing almost 30 years and i dont find how to reste the BIOS, the BIOS lose the time and the configuraction ,but doesnt loose the security, thank a lot partners
I was asking for you because i the video do you show exatcly the model i have , and you dessasembly It , and maybe you can find how to do it please, thanks
Now I remember this model. I'm 99.9% sure the hdd is not plugged correctly. Unplug the hdd, tilt the laptop and than try to put the hard drive in. You have to fill a little forse while plugging it.
7:40 is when what watching this specifically to see how to get to the cmos battery and how to remove and replace it....and the actual battery removal isn't even in the video because it was off screen. 0 out of 10 for as helpful as this video was as well as taking over 7 minutes to find out that it's not even shown. That laptop could have been thrown onto the ground and busted apart to get the cmos battery out/ in and it would have been just as useful.
This is probably because I make millions of dollars from RUclips and I can't afford a better camera. If you went to the part where you have to remove the battery and you still need a video how to push a metal pin, than I don't know haw did you manage to reassemble the laptop. The point of the video is how to get to the actual battery... But whatever.

There is no need to disassembly all laptop to access the cmos battery
Como.podo resetear el bios para quitar la seguridad de el bios?
Usually when you remove the cmos battery and short the pins. But in some cases you need to reprogram the bios with programmer.

I changed the battery, the time problem resolved, and now the hdd is not recognized, like no hdd 😢.
Any suggestion?
After you replace the HDD, probably the SATA mode went to default. Go in bios and put the SATA mode to AHCI
It's AHCI ... no bootable device
Try to switch it to the other option to test.what OS has on the HDD.

F5 to test, but again no drive detected ... Win 10 is the OS

You are better off following Mihai's advice above!
@@LaptopDisassembly you make "millions" and you dont say wich battery did you put on the laptop?
Hahaha good job
Keep making millions...
It is a standard 2032 battery like in the 99.99% of the CMOS ones.
You forgot one cable...
Which one ..it is 2y old video. 😅
@@LaptopDisassembly Right cable of touchpad) Thanks for video
@@user-yu2io9bs5d you are right. Or the touchpad was not working, or I did connect it after testing. Really can't recall.
07:38 where is this f**ing Battery located
