    Thank you for this video. You saved me a lot of time, helped me to organize my work, prepared me for a couple of unexpected design "solutions", probably prevented me from braking a part or two. Appreciate your time and effort.

    Como.podo resetear el bios para quitar la seguridad de el bios?

    • @LaptopDisassembly

      Usually when you remove the cmos battery and short the pins. But in some cases you need to reprogram the bios with programmer.

      @@eusebiolarosa2205 the CMOS battery have 2 pins on the connector. You remove the battery and then short the pins with tweezers. If that don't help, the password can be removed only by changing the bios with programmer.

    I changed the battery, the time problem resolved, and now the hdd is not recognized, like no hdd 😢.
    Any suggestion?

    • @LaptopDisassembly
      @LaptopDisassembly Год назад

      After you replace the HDD, probably the SATA mode went to default. Go in bios and put the SATA mode to AHCI

    • @birokaroly429
      @birokaroly429 Год назад

      It's AHCI ... no bootable device

    • @LaptopDisassembly

      Try to switch it to the other option to test.what OS has on the HDD.

    • @LaptopDisassembly

      Now I remember this model. I'm 99.9% sure the hdd is not plugged correctly. Unplug the hdd, tilt the laptop and than try to put the hard drive in. You have to fill a little forse while plugging it.

    7:40 is when what watching this specifically to see how to get to the cmos battery and how to remove and replace it....and the actual battery removal isn't even in the video because it was off screen.
    0 out of 10 for as helpful as this video was as well as taking over 7 minutes to find out that it's not even shown. That laptop could have been thrown onto the ground and busted apart to get the cmos battery out/ in and it would have been just as useful.

    • @LaptopDisassembly

      This is probably because I make millions of dollars from RUclips and I can't afford a better camera. If you went to the part where you have to remove the battery and you still need a video how to push a metal pin, than I don't know haw did you manage to reassemble the laptop. The point of the video is how to get to the actual battery... But whatever.
