Because Navarro had already bribed the police in the city and their job there was to wait for orders from Navarro anyway at that time there were several big clubs that were subject to Navarro's rule so the mobile police patrol was not needed but it didn't apply to Tyler,Mac, And Jess Because They Are A Threat.

Because to their knowledge, Tyler was still working for Marcus, so they had no reason to worry about them banding back together. Like Tyler said at the start of the game, it had been half a year since he was taken in, so Navarro had no reason to worry. It was up until the crew started to go up against the rival gangs that worked under Navarro’s command, then they started to get involved.

This police chase music is as good as NFS MW 2005 Police chase music. I wished EA grabbed all best parts of every average NFS game they made and crafted 1 masterpiece.

I really love how the police chatter plays through the PS4 controller's speaker... it really adds to the realism and authenticity. Now imagine if Most Wanted 2005 on Xbox 360 had this back in the day... it would've been too real !

While this theme isn't that intimidating like other pursuit themes from the franchise, but man I'm in love with this. People are going to hate me for saying this but this is my favorite pursuit theme in the franchise

The pursuit cooldown/ending is so pretty! Gives me chills whenever I hear it. It's such a nice juxtaposition compared to the super-intense pursuit theme, it really does make me relieved that I got away!

my first interaction with the police in this game was a crate. i was cruising in my skyline, picked it up and drove into a nearby tunnel. it was night, so when this theme started playing, sirens blasted and flashing lights began to chase me, i actually started panicking.
All of this fantastic dynamic music, and in my opinion, one of the best pursuit soundtracks to come out of NFS. All wasted on a game with such a mediocre police experience that you will probably never even hear the vast majority of it. Such a shame.
Like, that violin at 17:07 is genuinely terrifying. It sets such an amazing tone, but the game didn't take advantage of it. I'd love to hear this theme during a NFS Heat chase because that game actually has cops that'll make you pee your pants.

Joe has the right idea. In this game, you're invincible and cops aren't a big threat like in heat, so you need something a bit more epic rather than intimidating. One soundtrack obviously wasn't enough though

Don't know if Unbound does, I only know that there is a separate cooldown theme.
What I love about Unbound is that if there is police nearby (but not in pursuit) cooldown theme plays in the background
The ending really just sums it all up for you. That's one of my favorite parts.

Okayyyy I’ve never payed attention to this game’s pursuit soundtrack, but I can definitely say that it’s in my top 4 Favorite NFS osts.
Latest NFS lack of a good Dynamic Pursuit Soundtrack, but they did a good job with this one, makes me feel the same feelings I had while playing NFS Most Wanted being on a rush for not getting busted.
Man, the soundtrack for this game is a masterpiece. Intense, warning and intimidating. Joseph knows what he's doing :) It really feels like a hard race with cops on your back. Feels like something, that not even nfs MW could do. Sad, that I can't say the same about the game... Boring, dull, monotone farming for no reason with a shitty Fast and furious like story. But I still come back again and again...
Most wanted made the chase music sound either intimidating or very fast paced as they usually are not an "go from A to B" situation and is a chase, you rarely get some sort of escape point to really get away from the cops the quick paced music feel a lot more fun while the more intimidating ones feel a lot more tense. As chases get more frantic so does the music by a lot and as you're guaranteed to stick around a bit more to get a higher bounty the music changes feel impactful. Meanwhile with payback it's basically a race with a few extra additions and no real "free roam" being more of a race with more reckless opponents, the music manages to reflect that this is for all intents and purposes a race against time. The way the music is put together does make a 'chase' more fun but as there's no incentive to stick around to have a longer chase this music ends up being pretty obscure while most wanted is a lot more iconic.
In my opinion the game was fun

This is so cool that I would start a real life pursuit. And the Chase is so awesome
The Run is an underrated masterpiece which I actually prefer to this game. They need to make something like that but with a free roam map added somewhere.
I really liked The Run also too bad was rushed and short for 3 years work.
It wasn't rushed, they probably did not have the money/time to add a free roam map somewhere as the landscapes across the game and other game features costed a lot and took a long time. They would also have to create separate driving mechanics for that open world as the driving mechanics throughout the game are build for wide, straight roads.
Sucks the customization is very limited such as no performance upgrades and cars that are low tier only get cosmetics even the track day kits make them look high-end.

better than any other nfs pursuit soundtrack. this artist worked pretty hard to get hear, so hats off to him. btw, for those who are writing all the comments that the game was boring and you had to grind, many microtransactions, etc. its cuz EA owns it. They know people will buy there games so they used recycled assets and add 'new mechanics', find any guy who they think is capable of crafting up a story, and just come up with a new name and tweak the graphics a bit. To enjoy most nfs or EA games, u end up spending a lot, but u can't spell steal w/o EA, am i rite?
