I love Poppy Seed Chicken. I mix the poppy seeds and chicken in the soup mixture so that it all gets coated. It's really good with cooked wide egg noodles--most of the time I layer them on the bottom under the chicken and serve with steamed broccoli.

Hi Mamma Sue, I absolutely love you and love your Godly spirit….I do have one question…I think when I saw your recipe it said 8oz of sour cream and on your video you said 16oz….I just wanted to verify which is correct because I’m a terrible cook….I can’t verify for sure because now I can’t find the written recipe….continue to be the amazing woman that you are….WE LOVE YOU….GODSPEED
I've made it with 8oz sour cream. Bottom layer is a box of fried rice a roni, cooked. Top w chicken, soup and sour cream mixture. Sprinkle w poppy seeds and the crackers and butter. It kind of tastes like Almond Fried Chicken, with the gravy, chicken and crumbs. You can also top with shivered almonds, it's good
