    Really interested to see how this turns out, I’ve got a vx racing edition corsa and I’d love more power but with the obvious P4 issues I’m running 222bhp & 243lbs torque with a few supporting mods if I want more I have to forge realistically and bigger turbo, as well a few others but with a Z20LET Engine there more reliable and don’t seem to suffer as much as the Corsa d engines with P4 so I’m definitely interested in how this turns out, cracking fab work, and shows your dedication to go back and re fab something you weren’t happy with

      Your suffer with p4 due to starving cylinder of fuel as p1 p2 and p3 get the fuel first , fit bigger injectors and better fuel pump then take it for another map , it will run happily with more power . I’ve done it.

      @@k2soljaz oh I know, it’s got 613cc injectors fitted, FMIC, AEM dry cone filter, forge actuator Remus exhaust with decat and sorts cat and was mapped by RnD motorsport going for a full 3” system ansu fuel pump and a turbo smart recirc valve, thinking of getting it forged and going for a bigger build to reach 340ish that’s the plan at the moment just need the wonga 💰💰💰

      Well think at 340hp stock Z20 with a hybrid turbo will do that all day long.

      Yea there has been a few over the years, which was was yours? I have tracked most of them while researching why there wasent many done.
      Yes mine runs all OEM stuff, an everything works. That was the goal. As I dident want to be paying for map after map to get it bang on.

      @@TwinEngineCorsa tbh I bough mine already done pretty much, but I tweaked a few things and tried reverting back to standard ecu, used on numerous rolling roads, it was a red one owned by Ritchie, did make the old fashioned vaux mag, injectors kept going, coilpacks, misfiring constantly, stems went twice, this was all in one year, power steering, turbos where getting eaten etc etc, was endless, constant issues but fun car, sold for parts in the end and now the engine was donated to someone trying to build a twin charged astra 4 years ago,

    Just out of curiosity. What are the benefits of the z20let over the z16ler? Once the z16ler is forged they are just as capable aren't they?

    • @TwinEngineCorsa
      @TwinEngineCorsa  3 года назад +2

      You are always going to be limited with the z16. Performance parts for z20 are more available, meaning to make good bhp is cheaper. There are 100’s of 450-500hp z20’s which is common figure for these engines.
      Most forge built z16’s tend to see 300’ish where a stock z20 will do that.
      So in my opinion, stronger engine, cheaper to make power, will produce more torque, an will be more reliable at power. So again an all around better engine.

    • @TwinEngineCorsa
      @TwinEngineCorsa  3 года назад

      No idea as yet, as it will depend on final spec. Weather I leave it just at a 300hp or I forge the engine set for the buyer to put a big turbo on. I have seen your car if it’s the one of the photo? As I have been waiting to build one of these for ages, but on OEM ecu. An saw your was on standalone.

      @@TwinEngineCorsa no mine was on standard Ecu , but I ended up running 2 ecus as couldn’t get the clocks working with the engine.
      Car Ecu ran clocks ext and engine Ecu just ran engine , just wanted it running so was easiest option..
      I know now I should of done it properly but didn’t have the time.
