Excited to see the progression of this - would love to see some kind of review of your corsa, how it drives and handles, practicality of running it, any noticeable differences from 1.6 to 2.0 etc. just some more content of the car itself now the conversion’s been done would be mint and a hit with everyone interested in this build I’m sure 👍
@@TwinEngineCorsa incredible idea! I have a Corsa Nurburgring - would love to put a 2.0L block in instead of forging whenever p4 decides to give out, providing the driveability & reliability is there. Sure many others are in the same boat! Great work so far mate, props to you and all involved.
True words spoke right there, and like you said best to be 110% can not wait for the final finished version/product. I’m sure once done there will be lots of people interested in this conversion.
We done one in SOUTH AFRICA running z16ler managment running z20let. Had to change some sensors for square wave trigger and cam sensor mod on z20let cam
My corsa d vxr 2007, had a stage 1 map and forge engine, with some nice uprated internals, driving fine for months now suddenly started hunting when idling, wont drive as revs constantly dropping an wont go over 2.5k and back firing and spluttering, , can not for the life of me figure it out, found the map sensor was unplugged, cleaned sensor plugged in an no difference, any ideas im at a loss an next thing is take it a garage when. I normally do my own work.. Pls if u get a second point me in a direction....
I worked for vauxhall for a long time and left before it became french, used to have corsa b gsi's with c-xe's and let's, recently bought a clubsport d vxr and was thinking about a z20 for when the inevitable happens, i had a vague reciliation that they ran completely different management so thought it might be a nightmare. looking at your series so far think it might be easier for me to forge what i have and live with 250hp. guessing the big hurdle is getting components that could be used on an astra, so cdti corsa d stuff, imagine it took a long time to figure out.

100% going to do this. An I am going to get an independent professional driver to test them both on a track. As I am interested myself.

This is the conversion I want on my 2009 corsa vxr. I have a good running car I just don't want to go down the forged route when it let's go..
Hey great work how much would you charge to do this?
Interesting. I've recently got a 2015 1.4i Meriva (A14xer) and was thinking about either an engine conversion or trying to supercharge it

I'm thinking of doing a z20 conversion on my corsa, would love to speak to you about it

Top vid mate As always
Do you now provide a service to do this conversion?
a 1.2 ecu can be used, just remapped for c20 use
I beg to differ. Your talking about a Corsa C not a Corsa D. An it’s the z20 not the c20.
I need you! my E is piston poorly 😢

Whats the latest on this?
Have you got an update on this
It’s coming. Just with other projects and feature cars it’s getting around to getting them on.
