One of the things that impressed me about Tokyo when I was there is that despite the huge scale of the infrastructure, there's still very wide streets and the city is still so walkable. I've been in much smaller cities that are much less walkable than this.
Yes, Much of the infrastructure and buildings constructed during the postwar reconstruction and period of rapid economic growth have reached the end of their useful life, and reconstruction will continue for some time to come. The idea is to make rescue operations easier by purchasing old multi-use buildings that are 60 years old, building them into high-rise buildings, and eliminating narrow alleys.
It's different from building on a vacant lot like in developing countries. We try not to disrupt the local economic activity as much as possible, and we install noise meters and deploy security guards as noise countermeasures. It takes a lot of time and money. The demolition of buildings will also be carried out with consideration for the environment, with a jacking-down method being used to reduce the spread of dust.
Alles was fliegt. Das sähe nur noch geil aus. 🐼🍱🍙🍘🍣🍤🍥🥟🥠🍚🪐🐙🐙🐢🐲🐉🐳🐋🐚🐚💐💐🌸🌸💮💮🕷🕷🏵🏵🌺🌺🌴🌴🪰🪰🦂🦂🐡🐡🫖🍛🍜🍜🥡🥡 Mit freundlichen Grüßen Emanuela Michelis
The first phase of the Woven Smart City in Japan has been completed. It's a cutting-edge smart city designed to integrate advanced technologies, including EVs, autonomous driving systems, and EV copilot drivers, among other innovations. 😎

Thanks for an awesome walk around the Yaesu area. I go there 4 times yearly, always nice!
It looks like a very nice day and sunny and beautiful Tokyo. Would love to visit.
