@@De_Pieremegoggel I've played games on TTS and Tabletopia, but I just don't enjoy playing through that interface. I'd also need to convince those friends to get TTS which is another hoop to jump through. That said, I saw that The Crew launched beta on Board Game Arena and I already have a... crew... that plays games on that platform, so maybe that will work.

I've been playing the hell out of this game with my siblings/friends recently. It's really an incredibly fun game and the difficulty ramps up gradually across the missions in quite a nice way.
Should be noted that depending on the difficulty, it can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 20 to finish a single round. It took us ~8 hours and 2 sessions to get to the second to last mission and will probably take another hour to finish the last 2 (because of retries), but even during that time it never really got boring to play.
Would definitely recommend as a late Christmas present
ProZD has probably played more board games than the amount of times I have left my house.
Love The Crew, such an interesting puzzley game.
Literally just finished this game last night. Can't recommend it enough. It's an absolute blast. The creators have also released additional missions online for when you finish the logbook so there's something to go back to.
Thank you for this review of The Crew! For anyone who is short on time and is familiar with trick-taking card games, here is the basic game play described in precisely 100 words:
Complete each mission by helping all players acquire specific assigned cards or “tasks” (four colors X numbered 1 through 9) by winning tricks containing assigned task.
All playing cards are dealt to players. Deal X number of task cards in center. Players circle to pick tasks.
Player with Black4 trump card (1 of 4 trumps) picks and plays first card.
Players can “radio” once per mission to reveal card as highest or lowest of that color, or only card of that color.
The number of tasks, task selection eligibility, task sequence, and radio access vary by mission (50 in all).

My boyfriend and I adore this game. Like you said, very hard to put down! We played for like 5 hours the day we opened it without realizing how much time had passed.

If you can, try Root. It's an asymmetric territory control game. 2-4 players at base, 1-7 with an expansion. Not all faction combinations are balanced, but it's still a good fun. And the art is AMAZING.

Played this a lot over the holydays with my father and sister. It really helps if you know games like Skat or the German Doppelkopf, because the rules are very much the same only that you play against missions instead of playing against other player.
I love this, I feel like "Blackjack, but make it co-op" was the motto

This is a great game! I’ve played with veteran and casual players and everyone enjoys this game!
The reason I DON't like trick taking games is because it can be so cruel and competitive. I also love coop games, so this looks great!
