Eritreans have been struggling only to set Eritrean territories free from Ethiopian regimes after they got their independence from the Italian colony. Again they chose their independence over ethiopia and began arm struggle in which they have been lately accompanied by TPLF fighters from northern Ethiopia, Tigray region. These two armed groups had fought in common to topple the dictator mengistu regime. However, the Eritrean freedom fighters main target was to set Eritrean territories free from mengistu regime and assure their cessation from Ethiopia. In contrary , the TPLF fighters had a plan of totally eradicating mengistu regime and set the whole Ethiopia free from his governorship. Thanks to the TPLF fighters who set free Ethuopia and played a great role in setting free Eritrea from mengistu regime, Eritrean freedom fighters would not even achieve their target in 30 years if they had not been accompanied and got help from TPLF fighters.
