DIY Microwave Cart: How to Make a Mobile Microwave Cart for Extra Kitchen Storage Space. This has a pull out garbage can and recycling bin, storage for a few small appliances, and it's on WHEELS! That means I can move it around easily to clean under it, a necessity with three kids and three dogs in the household.
The best part is that it's a pretty simple project as you can buy the cabinets and just add the base, countertop, and wheels. I added trim to make it look nice, and a countertop plug because I hate trying to unplug and plug things in from the low outlet behind the cart.
Our store cart that we used previously was such a pain because it had open shelving which meant dust and dirt and hair got on appliances, requiring us to wash the appliances before using them.
I'm really pleased with how this came out!
