- I saw Milica on ITV playing Evie's Song, dedicated to Eva Cassidy. She is one of the world's best classical guitarists. It took my breath away and depicts Eva's purity of spirit well I think.
I have always love music always have radio on . The day I came across Eva's music I felt like I had won the lottery .She is so amazingly talented what a great loss to the world .R.I.P. Eva Cassidy

I think Eva would have been so touched to see how much she moved people around the world. She was unheard of outside her small community and folk clubs where she played. To know that people all over dedicate music to her and consider her blessed with amazing talent would have moved her no end. How bitter sweet for her family/friends to now witness this oupouring of love for Eva so many years after her death.

I can't get her out of my head and enjoy sharing this incredible talent with my family & friends…so, so, sad that she in no longer with us, spreading her amazing voice throughout the world…but, good for her sticking to her convictions and playing why she wanted to play. "The Eva Cassidy Story on ABC Nightline" is one not to be missed!
+Susan Posmentier The very same thing happened to me the first I learned of Eva and her story about 2 years ago. It is unlikely that anyone with passion in their heart could not be affected by her music, love and conviction. Amazing talent, hauntingly beautiful voice, and easy to admire.
Meeee too, I have heard Eva's songs "Song bird"and "Somewhere over the rainbow" on the radio and I really liked them. So I just bought "The best of Eva Cassidy". I have been blasting it in my car, at work, at home...tonight, like just now, I Googled her to find out when her next album will be released only to find out that she passed in 1996. I am shattered, not for me but for a life cut short when Eva had so much to give....her albums will mean more to me now knowing that there are limited songs that will be sang it that angelic voice...wow...blown away right now.

first time I ever heard of eva cassidy was 1 month ago as my best friend walked down the aisle to songbird and I teared up because of the beautiful words. She somehow manages to capture the emotion from the words and express it while singing in such a unique way. This is a gifted woman!

That's the problem with all the commercialized music out there. The truly talented and gifted singers get left out of the picture, really a sad situation for music lovers around the world. I miss the day when "ugly" singers could actually record instead of all the pretty faces with no talent the record companies push in front of us.
While these photos are lovely, I feel sorry that this beautiful music is not enhanced by stills of Eva -- there are surely plenty of those around. Thank you, Milica,

@jedaqia such is the fate of many great artist, being it in music or other areas. Greatness shines on after dead, maybe even brighter then in life. Just know that the music from such artists may never be sung again in the way that they did, but that the memory of these legends will outlast each and every one of us here reading this today. She may be gone now for some time now, here music still reaches out to me and that is a soothing thought indeed.

I respect your view and I realize it is "written" in the second person. Would you do me a favour and tag my music business to Eva's Somewhere Over the rainbow? This would be a great way to market my business!!!!
If this person wanted to post this they should have done it like the rest of us do. We just upload and don't ride on the shirttail of the success of others. I feel it cheapens and distracts from other comments pertaining to Eva and her music. I could post dozens of performers in this way

I don't see this as a tribute to Eva! It seems more of an exploitation of her name. There are no pictures of Eva and the only mention of her name seems to be a hook to get us to listen. I'm not judging the musicianship. The performance was fine but the video seemed very self indulgent.
Nice guitar, but mislabeled. This is not Eva Cassidy, and the way the title is formed one expects it to be. That's not right.
