Thanks for watching. One thing I am is truthful... black mambas have speed and agility plus deadly toxic venom and they're aggressive, they're arboreal and in constant motion. If 1 person hears the story and thinks twice about trying to keep a mamba as a hobby snake? Then it's more than a story, it's more education I'm trying to spread. Stay tuned - appreciate the support and comments!
Venom Central: Willie I watch the best & the brightest on You Tube. I've been watching for 3-4 years & I am by no means an expert. And I am not a snake expert by any means - I'm book smart not hands on smart. However, out of the 10+ channels I watch I'm always amazed by how calm your animals are. in your presence Even the bothrops! You are a true expert and know how to not only manage each species but how to read their behaviors. You always amaze me. I do not see this on every channel. Keep doing what your doing dude. You're amazing!
Gaboon's are my all time favorite! They are so beautiful yet so dangerous. I Love the way you get so excited Willy. I'm the same way too.... Great video!!!
I was thinking about getting a venomous and actually really wanted one but won’t until get more experience...had ball pythons but not taking chances till have some hands on with a venomous keeper to teach me from their experiences...thanks for all Your videos and stay safe
Willie you do have some very beautiful gaboons. Their really big and look healthy!!! Again you give awesome advise and truly do love these creatures. Hats off to ya brother. Stay safe during this corona mess.
Incredible show Venom Central way to go Willie, when those Gaboons go for the prey to strike I always jump back or up absolutely amazing animals.thank you Alex!👍🐍
You playing with death when you play with mamabas you have a great channel I wish every snake handler would learn from you they just careless and on a power Trip great vlog willie
You are so so so blessed that that mamba didn't bite you willy..and I'm glad he didn't cause you are my favorite favorite snake breeder and willy have you watched Dingo on RUclips? Hes a snake breeder from Africa and one of his last videos he was saying that he might soon come to usa to meet some other breeders..he is like you willy very respectful and family oriented and I love watching him also..but you are my absolute favourite..would you consider looking him up and talking to him..? It would be great to have my 2 favorite snake breeders together..keep up the great work mr willy and ms. Willy. Also when you going to make more vids of your bush masters? I like watching them also
I really loved your story about the Mamba!! :-) And I am glad you have such an agile guardian angel. I would really appreciate to hear more stories of you - I am sure you gathered some during the 35 years. You are such a good storyteller! Could be stories about your experiences with your snakes or the experiences of people you knew - (like the story about the guy who soaked his rattlesnake in disinfectant). It is a pleasure to listen to you.
After watching the VenomCam, all I can say is fucking WOW!! Both the strikes as well as the beautiful patterns, are just stunning!! Willy, if you keep putting up content like you have so far, your channel is gonna grow in leaps and bounds!! I'm glad that you ain't regurging "cw l" free h@#dle tactics to grow the channel. You ARE the real deal. Common sense, safety, equipment, and protocols that you discuss are great! The VenomCam is the icing on the cake brother! Stay safe and the both of you take care!
You are not only worthy but mandatory of having a private reptarum. The world needs to see and know how important these animals are in nature. Venom is so they can eat. Its not like they can chase food around or use their hands & hold it.. And the best part is they're beautiful to look at.
We are working on it and God willing we will be open in the next 6 months with a little bit of luck and a hard work we will try to bring our education to people in person

It also looked like they strike with some vengeance!!!!!!!!! Such an amazing camouflage that the pic u showed Icouldnt c the snake .... and that hiss is scary ....... loved it !!!!!
Willy, if you bread the Bitis Gabonica Rhinoceros next year I would definitely take one or two off of your hands, especially if the colors are as prominent as the ones in this clutch. I love the deep blues, chochlates, and intense greens. She's a beauty, mate. I admire your cautious handling style and your true and caring nature for these reptiles. You and Dena are saints.
I love this channel because I'm learning from venemous species of course I'm reading books but this channel helps me too much on these species that I love so hard , thanks man , I really enjoy your videos. Warm greetings from mexico
Omg what a strike and she so pretty too 🤗 love the way they hold there heads up holding there meal it they are beautiful ,,,deadly ,,, but beautiful 🐍🐍
Great video, gaboons are so beautiful. Seen a large black mamba for sale at hamburg couple years back. Scary animal. Thank god nothing happened to you. When and where is this snake house gonna be?
That Mamba story is wild especially given your experience and precise safety protocols. When they pull that sudden, kung fu, reverse manuever with the wiley noodlesque body, and black mouth gaping, that is so next level, and coupled with the fact that one double tap, "flick flick" bite and it's curtains, makes Mamba's just way too intense to keep as a pet.
I had by my self Naja's, bitis, Crotalus and other and I looking long time for an good canal that make videos about venomous Snake's and you are one off the best. You making good and informative videos 👍 Nice week man and keep up what you do 👌✌️
Hey Willie, serious question.. when the gaboon has the prey in their mouth.. say u got too close. Will they drop the prey and go for a strike at you?it happens with predator fish like Aimara wolf fish. Just wondering if that happens to vipers too
I have had a lot of them in the past. I do not have them at this time but we have a pair coming soon. I am waiting on a certain local from the Congo. They are the hardest to get. Thank you for watching bro
Wow don't they strike fast, of course I knew this, but when I see them on your video, I almost jump out of my seat when your snakes strike. Beautiful snakes and very well kept.
Hey Willy question if a gaboon bites you in the wild because you messed with him would it strike and hold on or just release! I think kings can hold on but interested if a gaboon would to? Secondly can your animals catch coronavirus off you if you catch it? Another great channel called viperkeeper has stopped contact with his snakes just feeding but as little as possible! Great video as always how is that good camera coming along and lighting? Hope all your family is well and safe and your animals as well! 🐍
We are learning and I think the videos are getting better. And the bite thing it depends on if it is a predatory strick or a defense bite with gaboons.
And I really don't watch other RUclips channels. I don't have the time. I am not sure about the snakes getting the virus. I know we are on lock down and hope ya all stay safe. Thank you brother
Willie have you ever seen a herper who let's his black Mamba actually bite him on camera and supposedly nothing happens to him...is this real or a scam...great video as always...thanks
No I don't know the guy but I know who you're talking about. It's real. Self envenoming has helped him build an immunity to mamba venom. Thanks for watching #VenomCentral Appreciate the support!
I like that he takes care of his snakes but he also leaves them alone he doesn’t over handle to get more views and he tries to make it like they are in the wild and he does not forget they are wild
Some of the baby gaboons go to other facilities, some go to private collections, and I don't breed them every year, only when there is a need for them! As beautiful as they are, they have huge litters. Thanks for watching and enjoying the channel!
@@VenomCentral thanks for the quick reply and for filling me in. Saw my first Gaboon at the Denver Zoo in 2004, and even then thought that it was beautiful, but potentially deadly
Im glad you said that about mabas willie i dont think alot of guys on youtube with these venomous snakes should even have them people like you that do what you do for a reason and not just because im 100% in favor of but the majority im not just my opinion
Thank you very much brother - it is so nice of you to support our channel - and then sending grant $ too? WOW! Overwhelmed. It really does help and means so much to what I do. (The Grant $ I receive REALLY has made a difference.) What I do is expensive, time consuming and I want to keep educating people, but then she (wife) drags me away from real work to film, and sometimes I'm in the middle of it, but what I realized lately, from her "behind the scenes ideas", is that you die-hards enjoy seeing it all, just me doing what I do...I'm just doing what I'm doing. Literally Grant $ fed my animals last month, now we can save up for an antivenom order and maybe new species to add to collection. Once again, thank you. Seeing your comments about the videos and what it is you enjoy about them keeps me going, it is awesome! Thanks again - truly! MSJ #VenomSquad
For some silly reason I watched like most of this video before I had surgery then today I went back watched part 1 with the puffader and I heard you say something about the mamba and gonna tell that story well the story doesn't get told in the first video and I never made it to it on the 2nd one yet Soni am watching it now well after you get part of your lung and a rib taken out laughing isn't an option but damn Willie no was falling in the floor on that one, I was laughing as easily as I could hold it in hurting crying at the same time always enjoy the videos man love the channel one of the best channels on RUclips if you ask me snakes it not you got a great personality man love hanging out and watching you on RUclips. It is just not to great on my nerve endings right now lol.

Hey Willy , I have a juvenile Florida Brooks King that does the exact same thing with water . He never uses the water bowl , or at least I never see him do it , but when I mist the tank he drinks the drops off the walls and himself . Also , do you ever worry that a snake will chip or break a tooth on the tongs or hemostats ?
Thanks so much for watching... however they get their water, at least you offer it! No I myself don't worry about them cracking teeth on tongs (when I feed), if you notice how I position the item I pick up with the hemos, and the size of the hemo/tweezers I feed with. There's a method to it, for sure, I talked about it in a couple bushmaster videos awhile back, and a rattlesnake vid... Thanks bro - stay tuned!
Man those gaboons were hitting, iam kinda in a toss up ,i want to add a gaboon to my collection but i kinda like the way the gambinos look, the ones that have a gaboon shaped head,an they stay a little smaller. Thks for all the info man it's much appreciated. Is there a place you sell your snakes at?
Gaboons have like transparent almost thinner spots on their bottom jaw right where the fangs would be I’ve heard it’s thinner skin there so if need be they can bite thru their lip or jaw to get a predator if need be I’m not sure if that’s the real reason or not
Somewhere I heard that gaboons do prefer taking their prey items from the side to avoid being bitten by in this case the rat. Along that same line they elevate the prey item so their feet are off the ground giving no chance for them getting leverage. I used to prefer news paper as well due to it being sterile, the ink I understand. Thanks for the video. Well there you go later in the video about elevating the prey item.
The gaboon viper are my favorite when it comes to striking and eating, I love that they grab and hold their prey item off the ground, and holy smokes are they fast, as a flying bullet 😆 that really were some excellent shots of them striking Willy, it actually were the best shots I’ve ever seen on this channel, really awesome and they are just so beautiful your gaboons👌🏽 so nice 👊🏼 I almost pooped myself cause of the shock 😂 dang they’re fast 😜
Gaboons seem to be like Copperheads... They like to hide in the strata of the woods. Down in the fallen leaves and twigs. And then they sit still and wait...
I hate how gaboons are so readily available in the venomous pet trade it’s probably one of my favorite snakes but they’re like assholes everyone has one I personally like the Bitis rhinoceros more than Bitis gabonica bc of the horns obviously most in the pet trade are hybrids unfortunately but anyways they’re still fucking awesome none the less
I thought you looked familiar. I haven't heard cape fear serpentarium mentioned By anyone in a very long time. While I didn't know him Particularly well, I did some Business with the Late Dean Ripa. Shame your safe Handling Habits didn't rub off on Him. If memory serves, I believe He got tagged By Bushmasters 7 times & survived, & ended up being killed by His Mentally ill Wife rather then any of his Beautiful Collection. A Great Guy from what I knew of Him.
Yes he was a very good friend and it was very sad what happened. I tried my best to keep that place but the city of wilmington had there plans for that property. Thanks for watching 👍
I see no reason to keep mama's nor cobras. Like another subscriber I've had ball, reticulating and Burmese pythons, and I live in Texas panhandle, we have several species of rattlers, copperheads, and moccicans. Just never wanted venomous snakes ev3nthouh I'm interested in them.
You only got 5.6k subscribers? Thats rediculious. You should be at 100k for the content quality. That irritates me. Shit channels get millions, and good channels dont. However, there are alot more stupid people then not. lol
Thanks CJ, appreciate that! And I totally agree but what're ya gonna do? I just do what I do and try educate and am thankful for all the loyal supporters I have. Means a lot to us that y'all believe! Thank you brother. We are getting better at filming. Soon we will be the best. LOL
Crazy fast
can you pet its wide forehead while injecting poison on its prey?
No😳
@@VenomCentral Thank you for the concern
Damn! That female Gaboon nearly swallowed the rat on strike. She folded that bitch up and nailed it! Awesome! Fangs in your face Rocks!
Gaboons seem to be like Copperheads... They like to hide in the strata of the woods. Down in the fallen leaves and twigs. And then they sit still and wait...
Really enjoyed the mamba story. That would have convinced me not to keep them too. Whew
god dammit i dropped my smoke....... lmmfao!
3 second rule. Don't let a good smoke go. Thank you for watching.
I think I would’ve died from chock if it were me and that mamba 😱😵 good thing that son of bitch didn’t bite you Willy 🤭😈
I want two gaboons next time you breed
Thanks for watching 👍
gabbys are batshit fast and deadly i wouldent wanna get tagged by one thats for sure
Thanks for watching and share, spread the word and maybe one day we'll get up there in #'s. Stay Safe!
I sold you that black mamba
Cool! As you know I did not keep him for very long. LOL He was a beast! 💯🐍👍💪🙏
He sounds mad mad
They male on the bottom is so fat they don't have much of a tale either it's alot shorter than some it reminds me of a caterpillar
