    Using the 10X since January, has helped a lot. Love how I can take it to the range for live fire as well

      I got the X3, I'm wondering if I'll end up regretting not getting the X10 for recoil analysis.

      Yes, you can aim at anything you want. Connect to the app, open a drill and start! Enjoy!

      i was wondering the same becasue for the lazer cartridge version they sell it with "smart targets" i bet you could do the same for this one and have some targets to connect to the app

    Great video, i've been using Matis x for the past 6 mhonts now. And im really satisfied that i've bought it. Approved a lot my gun handling and accuracy. It's unbeleviable how accurate the mantis X tells you your mistakes...
    I've noticed on this video, that you've placed the sensor on the bottom of the pistol mag, but the on screen app is shoowing tjhat i'ts place on bottom of gun rail possitioning forward!? Maybe the reason for not so good % of shoots on video....

      Glad you're enjoying it!
      It doesn't matter where the sensor is placed on the firearm, it will detect the data the same. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    I was skeptical about this gadget at first, but I went ahead and bought one anyway, and this training tool is legit.

    I don’t use a holster. So, am I correct in assuming the x10 only offers recoil analysis over the x3. If I don’t live fire is there any reason for me to not just get the x3. Thanks for the great video.

    • @MantisX
      @MantisX  2 месяца назад +1

      The X10 offers holster draw analysis, recoil analysis, it has drills in the app that the other two don't have. It can also be used with shotgun and archery.

      @@MantisX Thanks, I should have said X2. Based on how and where I shoot, it is probably sufficient. Did you ever have any bluetooth or battery issues. Not sure what bluetooth formats it supports. Have latest iPhone. Appreciate your feedback.

    My magazine has an indentation on the bottom, how did you get it to attach to the bottom?

    • @MantisX
      @MantisX  2 месяца назад +1

      We may have an adapter at our website, or our Universal adapter may work.

  • @FlyPiper14
    @FlyPiper14 2 месяца назад +3

    This may be a silly question: how does the system know what you're aiming at? Do you have a paper target hung or is it just essentially measuring the wrist/trigger pull relationship?

    • @MantisX
      @MantisX  2 месяца назад +2

      The MantisX is a sensor that attaches to the outside of your firearm and senses all the movement of your firearm and gives that data back to the MantisX app to show you what is going on and how to improve. It does not have a laser and does not use targets, it is movement-based only. It is gun specific as it attaches to a rail on the outside of the firearm, if your gun doesn't have a rail, we have adapters available. Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Not using pop caps to protect your striker ?

    • @MantisX
      @MantisX  Месяц назад +1

      most modern firearms are perfectly safe to dry fire without needing snap caps or anything else in the chamber. We recommend contacting your gun manufacturer to see what they recommend.

    • @MantisX
      @MantisX  21 день назад

      @mr.martyr8573 You can mount it to the magazine, or if your firearm already has a Picatinny rail, it can also be mounted there.
