The food that police ate is called "yukhoe(Korean-style raw beef)". You can make it with fresh beef. It is a common food in Korea. It's a dish that you mix with the sauce. It's really delicious unlike what it looks like. You can eat it as a side dish or make bibimbap with red pepper paste.

The guy at the end is like the opposite of Pil-do friom My Name. Pil-do was living in a utopia, trying to act right and that's what let him to his death. If he actually decided to help Ji-woo and kill the mafia boss he probably would have lived. But yeah.. he had unrealistic views of the world.
