Dose this new router still put out 2G-2GHz wifi. I have a camera system for my house that only runs on 2G 2GHZ. I really dont want to replace all my house cameras for a router
It does, but you can't really split the connection correctly. In my home, I have the Spectrum router but I also my own separate router for all my 2ghz devices. You kinda have to run to routers unfortunately which is what I do. And I use the spectrum router as like my main router for Xbox and TVs etc and my back up router for my home appliances and Amazon Elexa etc.
On Amazon search "GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 (Opal) Secure Travel WiFi Router" I use this router for my home appliances. I have 2 Wi-Fi signals from that router a 2Ghz and 5Ghz and then I have the 5Ghz from the Spectrum router so 3 total WiFi signals. But this router on Amazon was only $40 so I use that for my Alexa and RGB light bulbs etc lol
Mannnn yes you are right. I use to have Xfinity in my previous home town but out here it's only Spectrum and it terrible. I'll definitely take your advice. I don't know much about VPN but I'll definitely look into it.
@@capone_rd_809 I don’t see any throttling but went with my own router for coverage. Spectrum does suck but most that use them is because we don’t have any other real options
I use their modem but my own router. 1Gb is cool but most devices do not support 6e yet.
Mannnn I'm going to do that next. I'm not liking Spectrum so far but maybe my own equipment will help that.
