ABSOLUTELY! First time viewer here!🖐🏾 I've never been so inspired to give it a shot. I gave my very first $uper Thanks! So, thank you for your awesome, honest way of demonstrating your skills. I'm not bothered by your grammar AT ALL! Keep up the great work!👏🏾
Another great video! I love how down to earth you are and how you always let us know what worked well or what you might have done differently. All the pieces look great but I especially love the cabinet. Hopefully someday I'll get a saw and can attempt some of these cool wood working things!
I love, that you not only show how to do it, but you also: 1) add "user comment " (like from the child room) 2) show issues which "not professionals" may have doing the same at home
I love doing decorative epoxy! Something your viewers might want to consider is doing an undercoat made for epoxy. It will seal up the mdc board or any other porous material. I like using the white undercoat. It is not epoxy but a primer paint that doesn't lift. Also I have had many failures over the years with the epoxy lifting without undercoating. It helps with edges. Especially squared off corners. I think women are intimidated by epoxy and you did an excellent job of making it simple which it is. There are a few rules but if fallowed the effects are stunning check out videos by RK3 designs with Rhonda and Stone Coat Counter with Mitch. They do an amazing job of educating. I loved the flip way cool design.💖💖💖
These all turned out absolutely gorgeous Christina. I especially love the Rast 😍🤎 One suggestion for the marble top for a better finish on the edges and sides, along with adding colour to the sides, would be to router the edges on the top and bottom so that there isn't a 45 degree angle all the way round. This enables the epoxy to flow better and helps with the epoxy on the sides. Also, running your fingers along the bottom a couple times whilst the epoxy is still settling, helps to avoid the drips. I hope this helps for your next epoxy project 😊 Keep the amazing videos and projects coming please 😊
Amazing how much the look changed on all 3 of them. I really liked the 1st one. They were all great, honestly. But I really would like to try and replicate the 1st one you did. Fantastic!
Love you! One thought would be with that first hack for the wine bar cabinet to maybe finish off the top somehow? A marble slab would be cool but that just increases your price. Or maybe another piece of wood so that the top edges aren't showing? Or what about a piece of glass and then a fabric underneath or your matching wallpaper that was on the inside. 😊
First cabinet is my favorite. The staggered fluting looks more designer than all over fluting on 3rd item. Thanks for showing us all the details like how to fill and color nail holes or how to add a bottom to nail legs to. These are very useful knowledge for newbie diy-ers. :-D
I’m so glad I found your channel, I bought 4 Ivar cabinets 4 years ago and stained them an ugly dark brown; been wanting to make them over but didn’t know what to do. Thank you! Definitely subscribing ❤🎉😊
Hi Christina, I'm a beginner Aussie at 60! This is what I'd like to try in semi retirement, but where to begin! I have no experience on tools, cutting wood, sanding etc. Do you have a video on your beginnings? A trade perhaps, or just sheer determination or in Aussie terms, jump in & have a go. Your tutorials are well explained and easy to follow.
A job well done, loved all of them, great b ideas! Yes, the cost of wood has just gone crazy. Almost have to buy plywood for everything, then skim coat the top to get a smooth piece because the quality just isnt there. Great vid!
Love these ideas. For those who want to kick up a little sawdust, do you have a trusted shopvac that has stood the test of time and you recommend? I don't see one on your Amazon list (which is great!). Love your content!
So glad I found you!! So many questions. First, what is that clamp thing you used to hold the wood pieces in your miter saw? Second, what saw did you use to cut the mdf? Third, what is the stand you use for your miter? I need a stand.
Very attractive hacks! I wondered if the sap from the knots in the wood seep through the paint. Some have suggested shellac is the best way to seal it.
Have you ever painted or stained a table with a lip. I’ve stained and painted two and can’t figure out how to prevent buildup at the base of the lip? Any thoughts. Long time fan of your videos.
Thank you! Honestly, I am not sure- I have a spreadsheet I use that help me make that decision and takes into account my costs and the time put into it- and I didn't do that for this piece.
Hi, what was that little tool you used to cut the wallpaper right at the start of your video? I've never seen anything like that before, electric scissors?
Hi, FYI the link for the surf prep sander isn’t working, do you mind telling me which one you use, but I’d like you to get a kickback if possible so not sure how to go about that. Thanks
I just wanted to let you know that for some reason RUclips has this overlay that made it almost impossible for me to hit the like button. I had to move it out-of-the-way before I was able to do that. I use the premium RUclips that you pay for, but I have no idea why this is happening. It wasn’t this way before.
I have been watching you for a while and I do enjoy what you do with furniture. However, one thing bugs me, your use of "a" before a word with a vowel. "A angle," "a oil based stain". It is "an angle" "an oil based stain". You use "an" before a word beginning with a vowel.😀
Thank you for raising this. It distracts and bothers me too. And IMHO people always appreciate it when they are corrected because it's constructive criticism and something they can easily correct.
Love your videos & content. I rarely comment, but I think you would benefit from watching Stonecoat Counter Top. It will open up a whole new content world for you! Food for thought! 😅
"You want to try your hand at furniture flipping but you don't want to sand and you don't want to make repairs! Yet... you still sanded and maybe not made repairs but you still had to make parts to get the finished look which in the long run, takes just as much time and effort. Don't get me wrong, what you did was lovely but lets not pretend that this wasn't just as much work as flipping used furniture.
All of them turned out great.
This is so inspiring! I feel so much braver in approaching a resin/epoxy project 👏👏👏
I love to hear this!

Rhonda, Mitchell and Mike are absolutely brilliant! I have watched tonnes of their videos and absolutely love Stone Coat resin products.

Great feedback- thank you!
I love them all, but the resin marble looking top is my favorite.
Thanks friend! ♥️
Amazing how much the look changed on all 3 of them. I really liked the 1st one. They were all great, honestly. But I really would like to try and replicate the 1st one you did. Fantastic!
Thank you so much!!
They all look fantastic! Beautiful work, as usual! 💜
Thank you! 😊

That would be cool!
The Tarva is still my fav! I remember when you flipped that!
Love that one too!
Awesome hacks! Loving the epoxy marble tabletop!
Thank you! It's one of my favorites!

Awesome!
You are really an artist! Love them all! 🤗🤗💃
Thank you so much 😀
I loved the TARVA Dresser!! My IKEA is being remodeled and won’t be completed until Dec 20. Can’t wait to give it a try!
That’s great! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
All three were great. I liked the first one and third the most. You are quite amazing!!
Thank you so much!

I have lots of beginner makeovers on my channel- be sure to check them out. You can do it!
I don't think I'm normal at all, I got stars in my eyes when I saw the circular saw 😂😂😂
All 3 pieces look great.
Thank you!
Fantastic, one of my favorite transformations

Great work. Well done.
On the Rast there is removable wallpaper in marble in beautiful color that is so easy. I'm starting my second Rast hack I love your wood pieces.
Great idea!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
Man, you are so creative! Also soooo talented! I really love your videos, thank you!
Love these ideas. For those who want to kick up a little sawdust, do you have a trusted shopvac that has stood the test of time and you recommend? I don't see one on your Amazon list (which is great!). Love your content!
I love my festool dust extractor- I use it as a vacuum in my shop. Its linked in my Amazon storefront.
On the first one, I know you shortened the fluting due to the cost, but I think it's WAY more visually interesting, the way it ended up!
Loved them all
You really want me to choose, eh? I can't. The marble top is my favorite though, it would fit the other too. Kids eh, little Terminators.
Thanks!
Good job! I am going to flute the front of an Ikea Kallax unit soon. I am hoping to glue the doweling so wish me luck. 😅
You can do it!
Great job on all the pieces! ❤
Thank you!! 😊

I have the east which I painted white and two 12"x12" marble tiles fit the top perfectly!
Awesome! Love it.
Love all of them !
Very attractive hacks! I wondered if the sap from the knots in the wood seep through the paint. Some have suggested shellac is the best way to seal it.
Oh you answered this. Ha ha. Thank you!!
Dowels are cylindrical, square sticks are not dowels. Aside from that I love these hacks!
These are called square dowels in Home Depot and on their website so you can let them know. 😉 🤷♀️ Thanks for watching.
Have you ever painted or stained a table with a lip. I’ve stained and painted two and can’t figure out how to prevent buildup at the base of the lip? Any thoughts. Long time fan of your videos.
Instead of shellac I use wood conditioner on pine it anything with knots Super easy to use.
Great tip!
After you wipe down the excess hole filler, did you have to do any additional steps or does it dry and blend in with the original stain? Thanks.
Love this! If you were to sell the dresser, what would you have asked for it? 🎉
Thank you! Honestly, I am not sure- I have a spreadsheet I use that help me make that decision and takes into account my costs and the time put into it- and I didn't do that for this piece.
@@ChristinaMuscari just another quick question: what are your three top go-to colors that seem to satisfy most buyers in 2024?
All your proposals are excellent, I love them! I just had an idea to renew my furniture with little money, greetings from Guadalajara Jalisco
Love to hear this!
Hi would you please , tell me on Rast dresser what color of gel stain did you use? Thank you!
Love it!
Great job on all the pieces!!!! I thought you were off of You Tube? Not sure why I am not getting notifications....huh
Nope, I'm still here and never left. Sometimes the algorithm likes to play tricks. :)
BEAUTIFUL
Thank you! 😊
Hi, what was that little tool you used to cut the wallpaper right at the start of your video? I've never seen anything like that before, electric scissors?
So AMAZING
That's amazing
Is it weird that I mostly want to know where you got the overalls? Theyre so cute!
Here you go! amzlink.to/az07sn93ZHpku
@@ChristinaMuscari thank you!!! 😊
Great video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
@Christina Muscari Did you know there's a line of furniture embellishments made to fit for Ikea furniture? Can't remember the name.
www.myoverlays.com/
I love this look. I have anikea shoe rack I could do this on the door
I wish IKEA dressers came with a back panel.
Hi, FYI the link for the surf prep sander isn’t working, do you mind telling me which one you use, but I’d like you to get a kickback if possible so not sure how to go about that. Thanks

Here you go! This is a link for one of my favorite sanders and dust extractors.
@@ChristinaMuscari Thanks Christina!
6 drawer dresser ❤
The knots will surface again if you don't seal them with shellac before painting
Liked them all - esp. 1st & last. Wanna do it:)! Thx
Yay! Thank you!
Me again. On your last project with the marble top, it appears that the stain wasn't fully applied in some spots. Was that intentional?
Yes it was intentional
Love your creativity and video, but…you are technically creating slated finishes not fluted. Fluting would have concave channels or grooves.
Great point!
Thanks!
Welcome!
I love your videos. This person Kathleen is so mean.
would you please consider other music for the background?
Yes please! I had to turn the sound off. Too short of a repeat…

Actually you buy it by the “lineal” foot…linear just means straight.
Linear is also accurate.

That’s mean! Until you are perfect, you shouldn’t worry about or criticize others. Fix yourself first!
Ah yes the basic English. I helped my Vietnamese father through this as well. He eventually got it after many many months
😂 no one else seems to be bothered by it. Seems like shes doing something right
True! And I do love her work and personality.
